Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, human resources, English, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Four to seven years of experience in internal, corporate, employee, or organizational communications, or public relations.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to prepare executive-level materials.
  • Experience communicating organizational change.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities at a fast pace.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook), Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Attention to detail and strong editing and proofreading skills.
  • Successful completion of a background check, including pre-employment drug screening.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or otherwise eligible to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute internal and external communication strategies aligned with Apollo's priorities, culture, and growth.
  • Own companywide communications, including leadership updates, announcements, newsletters, and organizational initiatives.
  • Translate complex business topics into clear, actionable messages, and set consistent standards and tone across Apollo.
  • Draft leadership announcements, speeches, presentations, talking points, and business updates.
  • Partner with leadership on messaging for strategic initiatives, organizational changes, milestones, and major announcements, reinforcing Apollo's mission, values, and The Apollo Way.
  • Use storytelling to strengthen engagement and culture by highlighting employees, teams, project successes, milestones, and achievements.
  • Strengthen two-way communication across corporate, field, and global teams.
  • Develop and execute communication plans for organizational changes, new programs, policies, processes, and initiatives.
  • Anticipate communication needs and help leaders share timely, accurate, and transparent information with clarity and consistency.
  • Manage Apollo's corporate social media and external content, showcasing its people, projects, capabilities, culture, recruiting, and growth.
  • Maintain a consistent, professional, and authentic brand, using engagement metrics to improve content and strategy.
  • Partner with Human Resources, Recruiting, Operations, Corporate Development, and leadership on communication priorities.
  • Manage internal platforms, including the intranet, Teams, SharePoint, and newsletters, and build calendars, templates, and standards for a scalable function.
  • Travel to project sites as needed to engage employees, gather stories, and strengthen corporate–field communication.
  • Measure effectiveness through engagement metrics and employee feedback and recommend improvements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in engineering, construction, technology, consulting, or professional services organizations.
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership, including presentations, video scripts, and town halls.
  • Knowledge of employee engagement and culture strategies.
  • Familiarity with intranets, content management systems, and visual tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience measuring communication effectiveness through analytics and employee feedback.
