We are seeking a Senior Director, Retail Media to drive the go-to-market strategy for our advertising and media business for GasBuddy. This role requires a blend of digital media and technical expertise, business acumen, marketing expertise, and product knowledge to create and execute strategies and solutions that align with our business goals. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Data, Product Management, Sales, Business Development and Marketing, to drive the success of our advertising offerings, brand partner relationships and ongoing refinement of our key success measures.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead growth strategies for a portfolio of strategic brands across our digital platform
- Develop a deep understanding of our business model and the competitive landscape we compete within
- Work collaboratively with Sales, Business Development, Data and Product teams to design and implement strategies that optimize partner success and advertising revenue
- Serve as subject matter expert on GasBuddy retail media offering to both internal and external stakeholder groups
- Drive the development and execution of impactful brand facing collateral to support the business objective of the business for retail media solutions
- Monitor KPI’s to ensure effective program delivery and execution
- Work closely with our Advertising Sales team to drive continuous improvement and growth for our brand partners and advertising revenue
- Continuously expand and grow industry and product knowledge in order to drive deep relationships with key stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in working with ad tech, publishers or retail media
- Proven experience with supporting platform solutions in the advertising space
- Strong technical acumen, analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated success in working with cross-functional teams and leading complex projects.
- Ability to think strategically while being detail oriented.
