A reliable personal vehicle is required.
A Food Handlers Certificate must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Coordinate all operations at an assigned senior nutrition site, including serving congregate and home-delivered meals, planning educational and recreational events for clients, maintaining documentation of services, and reporting data to the support team.
Complete reports concerning meals served and program income received accurately.
Assist the Home Delivered Meals Coordinator with recruiting and screening home-delivered meal service volunteers.
Assist the Region Supervisor in developing local cash donations.
Complete Participant Information forms and Nutrition Screening forms with congregate clients and send them to the Central Office weekly.
Coordinate local volunteer resources for congregate and home-delivered meal services.
Package food for home-delivered meals.
Clean the site area and monitor food temperatures.
Serve as liaison between the senior nutrition site and the central kitchen or caterer; order an appropriate number of meals and provide feedback about food quality and quantity.
Serve food at the congregate site.

Peace Meal Site Coordinator - Per Diem (FIndlay, IL)

Job Description

Peace Meal Site Coordinators are responsible for coordinating all operations at an assigned senior nutrition site, including serving congregate and home delivered meals, planning educational and recreational events for clients, maintaining documentation of services at the site, and reporting data to our support team.

Department: Peace Meal

Hours: Per Diem 15 hours a week required (this is not health benefit eligible)

Shift: Monday - Friday: 9:30am - 12:30pm (no holiday or weekends

Required: High School, Valid IL driver's License and Auto Insurance. Reliable person vehicle (milage reimbursement provided). Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days of hire

Pay: based on experience, starting at $18.68/hour
