Requirements
  • A diploma in respiratory therapy is required.
  • At least two years of prior experience in respiratory therapy is required.
  • Must be a member of the Ordre des inhalothérapeutes du Québec.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have advanced-level French language proficiency.
  • Must be flexible to work in remote regions.
Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments of patients.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with respiratory disorders.
  • Administer inhaled treatments and prescribed medications.
  • Monitor patients’ respiratory status and adjust treatments accordingly.
  • Educate patients and their families about respiratory care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
