Infinity and HP double AI workload capacity on GB300-powered ZGX Fury without new hardware

Infinity, an automated AI research company, has teamed up with HP Inc to double the concurrent workloads and token throughput of NVIDIA's Nemotron 3 Super model on the HP ZGX Fury, without changing the hardware. The desktop machine runs on NVIDIA's GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Desktop Superchip. In testing, the setup handled about twice as many concurrent requests at the same responsiveness threshold. Infinity delivered the first gain in under 24 hours of engineering work and has kept optimising since. Infinity's engineers tuned the inference stack using techniques from vLLM, NVIDIA TensorRT-LLM, and SGLang, plus their own methods. Gartner forecasts that global spending on AI inference will overtake spending on AI training this year, at $23.3 billion versus $19 billion. Infinity was founded in August 2025 and is backed by Touring Capital.

RRD expands strategic digital print agreement with HP to advance SMART manufacturing architecture.

RRD expands strategic digital print agreement with HP to advance SMART manufacturing architecture. 14 October 2026 13:02 HP and RRD today announced an expanded strategic agreement that will see 15 HP digital presses deployed across key RRD manufacturing locations, extending their long-standing relationship through 2029. Building on the investment announced at drupa 2024, the deployment will expand digital production capacity and operational flexibility while supporting RRD's global Systematic Manufacturing, Automation & Robotic Transformation (SMART) manufacturing framework. This next phase reflects RRD's continued investment in HP's digital print technologies, services, and solutions to meet evolving client needs across commercial print, direct mail, packaging, labels, and statement applications. By integrating HP technology into its standardized data infrastructure, the expanded agreement supports RRD's broader SMART manufacturing architecture, which enables AI-driven predictive maintenance, dynamic production scheduling and network capacity balancing to help mitigate supply chain disruptions. It also underscores a shared focus on operational efficiency, workforce enablement, production agility, and scalable long-term growth. "Customers increasingly expect print to be more personalized and responsive to their needs, whether it's a statement, a direct mail campaign, or a package," said Craig Roberton, President, Marketing and Operational Print at RRD. "They need greater flexibility without compromising the reliability and consistency they expect at scale. This expansion gives us the capacity and capabilities to deliver on both, while enabling our teams to take on more complex, data-driven work with increased speed and efficiency." For more than 30 years, HP and RRD have worked together to advance large-scale digital print production across RRD's global network, driving greater flexibility and efficiency in increasingly dynamic print environments. "The agreement between RRD and HP goes beyond the purchase of assets," said Alan Gardner, Senior Vice President of Engineering and Process Management, RRD. "It ensures that technological advancements are incorporated into future thinking and project planning. By continuing to collaborate, both companies work closer together and find opportunities to advance manufacturing technologies, associated automation, and functionality to remain highly competitive." "RRD has been one of the industry's most forward-looking print providers for decades, consistently investing in technologies that create a real operational and commercial advantage," said Oran Sokol, Vice President of Strategy and Solutions, HP Graphics Solutions Business. "This next phase reflects the confidence RRD has in HP technology to support their production strategy. Together, we're helping build a more connected, agile, and digitally driven future for the graphics industry."

Behold, the $3,000 keyboard that is also actually a powerful AI PC I would hate to spill my coffee on.

Behold, the $3,000 keyboard that is also actually a powerful AI PC I would hate to spill my coffee on. Published 2 hours ago I'll be saving my pennies for something - anything - else, personally. As you may already suspect, the ZX Spectrum was a bit before my time. Still, a whole home computer crammed inside a relatively svelte keyboard is something with timeless appeal. Enter HP's latest update to the EliteBoard, a modern day keyboard-PC costing far more than the ZX Spectrum ever did. HP's Eliteboard series debuted with the G1a at CES 2026, which boasted a Kraken Point APU and a Radeon 860M integrated GPU (this made it roughly as powerful as the Steam Deck). Already the company has come out with a refresh in the form of the HP EliteBoard G2a, which is pitched as a 'Next Gen AI PC' complete with a Copilot key. This follow-up sequesters some serious hardware inside its svelte frame for AI-geared workloads. Latest Videos FromPC Gamer Mycopunk 1.0 launch date trailer - PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct 2026 Would you switch from x86 to Arm for your next laptop? Voting closes at 09:00 AM on Oct 13, 2026 Yeah, I've been waiting for this day to come I'd definitely consider it, but I'm not sold yet Not until all my games run as intended I already own an Arm-powered laptop (Apple, Qualcomm, etc.) x86 'til I die, baby! I don't care either way, so long as the performance and battery life are better Within what I must admit just looks like a regular office keyboard, there is up to 32 GB of RAM and an AMD Gorgon Point CPU. Pricing starts at $3,028, with the most 'basic' model available in the US featuring 16 GB of RAM and an AMD Ryzen AI 5 Pro 435 processor. You can also only plug it into a monitor that supports a USB-C connection. Three grand is already a lot for a prebuilt gaming PC, let alone for something that looks like it could all too easily find itself in the path of a disastrous coffee spillage. Even more head-scratching, you can't detach the integrated USB4 cable - the model that lets you detach it starts at $3,053. Image 1 of 3 The most powerful model incorporates a Ryzen AI 7 Pro 450, plus 32 GB of RAM, and weighs comfortably under 700 grams (for comparison's sake, the G1a weighed 780 grams). It will set you back an eye-watering $4,191, though. As neat as the 14.1 x 4.7 x 0.7 inch form factor is, I think I'll save my pennies for a much more sizable gaming rig, thanks. JA Worldwide and HP launch global collaboration to prepare young people for a technology-driven future.

JA Worldwide and HP launch global collaboration to prepare young people for a technology-driven future. BOSTON, Oct. 12, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - Junior Achievement (JA) Worldwide and HP today announced a global partnership that unites years of successful collaboration around the world. Spanning 37 countries, the expanded collaboration aims to advance digital skills, AI education, workforce readiness, entrepreneurship, and intergenerational learning for young people and educators. The partnership combines HP's technology, skills training and expertise of its employees with JA's global reach, deep local relationships, and more than a century of experience in experiential education. JA locations, embedded in communities worldwide, can adapt each learning experience to the language, culture, education system, and local economic priorities, while a global framework establishes shared standards for educational quality, volunteer engagement, impact measurement, and storytelling. "JA and HP have built extraordinary programs in communities around the world, each responding to local opportunities and grounded in a shared belief in young people's potential," said Leo Martellotto, JA Worldwide's Chief Development Officer. "A global framework now unites those efforts, allowing effective ideas to travel, opening more pathways for HP employees to share their expertise, and extending high-quality learning to young people at remarkable scale. Together, we're helping young people develop the skillset and mindset to build thriving communities." During the first year of the collaboration, JA and HP expect to engage more than 850,000 young people and educators through locally tailored hands-on learning experiences that HP employees strengthen by contributing their expertise as mentors, speakers, subject-matter experts, and judges. "Access to technology is important, but its real value emerges when people have the confidence and skills to use it in meaningful ways," said Michele Malejki, Global Head of Social Impact at HP Inc. and Executive Director of the HP Foundation. "At HP, we bring technology, learning experiences and the expertise of our people to help young people explore new ideas, solve real-world challenges and prepare for a changing world of work. Through JA's deep local relationships, those opportunities can reach more young people in ways that are relevant to their communities." Opening a Global Conversation at UNGA During the recent United Nations General Assembly in New York City, a JA Worldwide, JA of New York and HP-hosted discussion introduced young people entering the workforce to senior corporate leaders. The session, "Beyond Mentorship: Learning Across Generations," examined how changing expectations around technology, leadership, learning, purpose, and flexibility are reshaping the workplace, approaching intergenerational exchange as a source of mutual learning. Their exchange reflected a central principle of the JA-HP partnership: Every generation possesses knowledge the others need. When young people and experienced leaders engage one another as thoughtful peers, they challenge assumptions, expand possibilities, and shape stronger workplaces together. From UNGA to NAUFest From the global stage in New York, the partnership now advances across the Americas through NAUFest, JA Americas' regional educational experience connecting young people through online and in-person events in more than 30 cities. At the center of NAUFest, the HP-supported #AIForImpact Challenge invites young people to identify a challenge in their communities and develop an AI-powered solution, moving participants from understanding to application. Participants follow a structured learning journey available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, combining short educational videos, guided activities, a live masterclass, mentorship, and a showcase in which to present their ideas. Young people examine how AI is transforming entrepreneurship, use AI tools to conduct market research and develop prototypes, consider the ethical dimensions of AI-assisted decision-making, and apply their learning to a challenge that matters where they live. HP employees contribute throughout the experience as content experts, mentors, speakers, and regional judges. Global Reach; Local Relevance Over the coming year, the partnership will take shape across the following regions and countries: * Africa: Nigeria and South Africa * Americas: Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, México, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, and Venezuela * Asia Pacific: China, India, Indonesia, and Malaysia * Europe: Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Türkiye, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom * Middle East and North Africa: Egypt, Morocco, and Saudi Arabia Across these regions, the portfolio includes AI and digital-literacy education; entrepreneurship experiences through which students create and manage companies; career exploration and work-readiness learning; digital safety and citizenship; professional development for educators; and direct engagement with HP employees. A coordinated global approach also strengthens impact measurement, peer learning, communications, and the collection of stories that reveal how young people apply their burgeoning skills. Through the JA Institute - JA Worldwide's center for research, insights, and thought leadership - HP and JA will draw broader lessons from the partnership and contribute fresh perspectives to global conversations about education, technology, youth agency, and the future of work. "What excites me most about this partnership is its multiplier effect," said Asheesh Advani, JA Worldwide's CEO. "Young people across 37 countries gain the digital fluency, entrepreneurial thinking, and workforce readiness to pursue opportunity and grow into capable, fulfilled leaders, while educators develop new skills and teaching practices they can carry forward to many more learners. Together, JA and HP are cultivating future-ready talent at global scale and strengthening an education ecosystem that can expand opportunity for years to come."
