What believers are saying

  • Sage Home Loans won Robinhood: since November 2025, Robinhood Gold members get mortgage rates at least 0.75% below average.
  • Early-career staff move up: a March 2026 list built from promotion, pay and retention data gave Red Ventures Platinum status.
  • Benefits go past basics: US staff and their families get free therapy, plus fertility, adoption and surrogacy support.

What critics are saying

  • Plan on commuting: Red Ventures asks for 3 to 4 office days a week, varying by team.
  • Expect leadership changes: Bankrate named an outside CEO in October 2025, four months after The Points Guy did.
  • Demand swings with the economy: in 2022, Moody's said its consumer finance and travel units fell sharply in the pandemic.

What makes Red Ventures unique

  • It shares a health business with an insurer: RVO Health, co-owned with UnitedHealth Group, runs Healthline and Healthgrades.
  • Bankrate's rate surveys are economic data: in May 2026, the St. Louis Fed's public database added 40 years of them.
  • Red Ventures sells its growth skills too: its RV Home unit embeds data and growth teams inside home-services brands.
