Position Description:
We are: We are a team of IT professionals with varying specialties who are passionate about finding innovative ways to use technology to keep our company competitive and forward leaning.
You are: A college student currently enrolled in a Bachelors program for Information Technology or Computer Science related field who is looking for real-world experience learning and growing as an IT professional in a high-paced corporate environment going through major technological upgrades and changes to best support our growing company.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls from users experiencing technology issues, log tickets and beginning troubleshooting.
- Develop and conduct an inventory process covering computers and server equipment.
- Provide OS upgrades to machines throughout the enterprise.
- Assisting with server backup solutions.
- Prepare new hardware for issues.
- Conduct new user set up.
- Possibly split time between two different sites within the metropolitan area
Required Qualifications:
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Familiar with MS Windows OS
- Strong customer service skills
- Critical Thinking
- Time Management
- Research and Analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of network topology
- Development of Technical Documentation
- Windows server administration experience
