Electrical Design Engineer
About the job
- A technical degree in the electrical and automation industrial field or equivalent is required.
- Experience in a similar position is required; railway experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design using tools such as Schemelect, Eplan, SEE Electrical Expert, or AutoCAD Electrical is required.
- Knowledge of automation and functional logic is required.
- Knowledge and proficiency in electrical distribution principles and associated protection systems are required.
- Ability to produce electrical diagrams of systems is required.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher is required.
- Occasional travel of a few days about once every two months is required.
- The candidate must be autonomous, solutions-oriented, and able to solve problems and take technical responsibility.
- Participate actively in technical discussions on projects.
- Study client specifications and prepare technical solutions for functional and detailed diagrams.
- Prepare functional logic diagrams.
- Design and draw wiring diagrams for electrical cabinets.
- Provide technical support to the project manager.
- Design and draw wiring diagrams for direct-current traction substations.
- Railway experience is a plus.
