  • Currently a sophomore in an undergraduate degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or Management Information Systems, with a December 2028 through May 2029 graduation date.
  • Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Demonstrate high technical aptitude.
  • Demonstrate strong problem identification and analytical skills.
  • Have well-developed written and oral communication skills.
  • Be available to work full-time during normal business hours for the internship.
  • Be able to work in the United States for an indefinite period without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
  • Build creative technical solutions to tackle complex business problems.
  • Assist with application development involving artificial intelligence, HTML, JavaScript, data design, and analytics.
  • Work within a diverse team using methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban to deliver solutions.
  • Apply planning, analysis, detailed design, coding, and testing knowledge to support implementation across various platforms.
  • Learn and apply Thrivent’s processes and standards for software application development and deployment.
  • Perform day-to-day maintenance and troubleshooting of software assets under the direct supervision of an employee partner or mentor.
