Requirements
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree or other relevant educational credential
  • Demonstrated experience in EDS with specific experience in Siemens Capital tools for system harness design
  • Experience in Catia v6 software is a significant plus
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to wire harness, power distribution, etc.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a dynamic team environment
Responsibilities
  • Develop and release vehicle electrical system designs in Capital Harness Designer and associated tools
  • Collect device and system information to inform harness and power distribution design
  • Support selection and integration of devices for the vehicle electrical systems; source components and material
  • Establish relationships with suppliers of wire harnesses and related components electrical distribution system
  • Stay up to date with latest wiring/connector standards
  • Support prototype wiring fabrication and vehicle testing
  • Work with domain experts and supply chain team members to select and integrate electrical components
  • Support wire harness integration in Catia v6 to support CAE and DFM activities
