Harbinger Motors Inc. is a Southern California-based electric vehicle manufacturer on a mission to transform the automotive and transportation industries, bringing to market EVs developed from the ground up to address the needs of the Medium Duty vehicle industry. Job Overview

As a member of the Vehicle Electrical Systems team, this role will take ownership of the electrical distribution system design from management of device interface data to volume production of wire harnesses.

What You’ll Do:

Develop and release vehicle electrical system designs in Capital Harness Designer and associated tools
Collect device and system information to inform harness and power distribution design
Support selection and integration of devices for the vehicle electrical systems; source components and material
Establish relationships with suppliers of wire harnesses and related components electrical distribution system
Stay up to date with latest wiring/connector standards
Support prototype wiring fabrication and vehicle testing
Work with domain experts and supply chain team members to select and integrate electrical components
Support wire harness integration in Catia v6 to support CAE and DFM activities

Who You Are:

Possess a Bachelor’s degree or other relevant educational credential
Demonstrated experience in EDS with specific experience in Siemens Capital tools for system harness design
Experience in Catia v6 software is a significant plus
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to wire harness, power distribution, etc.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a dynamic team environment
