Forbes is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Software Engineering Director to lead our Front-End Team working on Forbes.com and the pages and websites that surround it. It will be your responsibility to lead the delivery, vision, process and strategies around high profile and impactful features that will be seen and used by millions of users worldwide. What you will be doing:

• Approach work with value and product-driven mindset
• Manage a team of Managers, Senior Engineers and Architects
• Empower Engineers to make as much of an impact as possible

What we are looking for:

Technical Skills:

• Strong conceptual knowledge and background in JavaScript/HTML/CSS
• Experience with Unit and Integration testing
• Experience integrating with NoSQL databases. MongoDB is a plus
• Comfortable with CI/CD Pipelines, and deploying code
• Experience with Git version control, and other software adjacent tools
• Experience with front-end development technologies and multiple frameworks

General Skills:

• Ability to communicate highly technical concepts to non-technical audiences both verbally and in writing
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Strong organizational skills

The annual base salary range for this role is $165,000 - $200,000
