Responsibilities
Assist customers over the counter or by phone with parts sales.
Look up parts and technical information, check inventory, and locate stock within the company network.
Complete sales transactions accurately and promptly, following company policies, including verifying signatures, credit cards, and customer identity.
Schedule orders for shipment, delivery, or customer pickup and ensure prompt processing.
Issue credits for returned parts after verifying purchase details against original invoices or reference numbers.
Follow up with customers on order status, provide estimates, and make routine sales calls to maintain customer relationships.
Enter part numbers accurately to determine costs on repair orders.

Two or more years of parts sales experience is highly preferable.

(TCI) is on the lookout for a customer-focused Parts Counter Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you'll need to bring your strong interpersonal skills to help our customers find the commercial vehicle and equipment parts they need, whether in person or over the phone.
Shift Available:
Monday-Friday, 1:30pm-10pm
What You'll Do:
Sell Parts: Assist customers over the counter or by phone in a lively, fast-paced setting.
Utilize Resources: Quickly and efficiently look up parts and technical information, check inventory, and locate stock within our TCI network.
Handle Transactions: Ensure all sales transactions are completed accurately and promptly, adhering to TCI policies, including verifying signatures, credit cards, and customer identity.
Coordinate Orders: Schedule orders for shipment, delivery, or customer pick-up, ensuring they are processed quickly.
Process Returns: Issue credits for returned parts, verifying purchase details with original invoices or reference numbers.
Customer Follow-Up: Regularly check in with customers on order status, provide estimates, and make routine sales calls to maintain strong customer relationships.
Accurate Data Entry: Enter part numbers accurately to determine costs on repair orders.

Qualifications
What We're Looking For:
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of parts sales experience is highly preferable
Thorough knowledge of basic computer operations and inventory control systems
Demonstrated customer service and communication skills
