Requirements
  • A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in the role of Project Manager.
  • A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or a related field is required.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification is required.
  • Experience with, or demonstrated ability to manage, projects up to $30 million.
  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction, including technology, equipment, and methods; subcontractor agreements, jurisdiction, negotiations, estimating, schedules, and safety.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory, and time management skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel and work at various locations.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse, multidisciplinary groups.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
Responsibilities
  • Provide overall direction, supervision, and daily operational management of the project.
  • Manage operational priorities, schedule adherence, project-team coordination and communications, and overall project financial performance.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other project-team agencies.
  • Maintain the project communication hierarchy and protocol.
  • Develop and issue bid manuals.
  • Plan and implement procurement of materials and services for each project.
  • Create scopes of work for each subcontractor and vendor.
  • Create contracts with vendors and suppliers.
  • Manage and supervise project budgets and costs, and participate in project accounting updates, approvals, and processes.
  • Manage the subcontractor and vendor payment process.
  • Prepare cost projections and cash-flow reports.
  • Manage the subcontractor change-order process, including tracking, budgeting, and issuing change orders.
  • Manage all project-team members.
  • Create, maintain, and manage the project schedule.
  • Manage the project quality-control and quality-assurance plan.
  • Schedule and attend job meetings.
  • Manage project closeout and subcontractor closeout procedures.
  • Oversee Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers, and assist with submittal review and request-for-information issuance when required.
  • Oversee the submittal process to ensure timeliness and adherence to the project schedule.
  • Track material deliveries to ensure adherence to the project schedule.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Experience with pharmaceutical, healthcare, laboratory, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing, or commercial projects.
