Requirements
  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial services, or a closely related industry.
  • Experience as a President, CEO, COO, Division President, General Manager, or similar P&L leadership role.
  • Direct responsibility for a meaningful P&L, including revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, and cash flow.
  • A demonstrated record of growing revenue and improving profitability.
  • Strong commercial instincts and comfort working directly with customers and sales teams.
  • Experience managing operations through strong plant and site-level leaders.
  • Experience building management teams and holding executives accountable.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing economics, including labor, material, utilization, capacity, job costing, and gross margin.
  • Ability to move comfortably between the shop floor, customer meetings, financial reviews, and board-level discussions.
Responsibilities
  • Own financial and operating performance across the Metal Solutions Holdings platform.
  • Drive revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, cash flow, and working capital performance.
  • Establish clear KPIs, operating rhythms, budgets, forecasts, and accountability across portfolio companies.
  • Manage and develop Site Leaders responsible for individual operating companies.
  • Hold leadership teams accountable for measurable financial and operational results.
  • Build a repeatable commercial engine across the platform.
  • Work with Site Leaders and sales leadership to expand existing customers and enter attractive new markets.
  • Develop deeper relationships with large industrial, infrastructure, data center, aerospace and defense, space, and original equipment manufacturer customers.
  • Improve pricing discipline, quoting strategy, customer mix, and margin quality.
  • Help individual businesses evolve from traditional job shops into higher-value manufacturing partners.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell capabilities and customers across Metal Solutions Holdings companies.
  • Establish a common operating framework across Metal Solutions Holdings while preserving what makes each business successful.
  • Drive improvements in gross margin, labor efficiency, throughput, quality, on-time delivery, and working capital.
  • Build strong Site Leaders and Plant Managers rather than personally managing every production issue.
  • Create accountability around job-level profitability and estimated-versus-actual performance.
  • Identify bottlenecks in people, equipment, systems, and processes and ensure they are resolved.
  • Work directly with ownership to evaluate potential acquisitions.
  • Participate in operational and commercial diligence.
  • Assess management teams, facilities, customers, capabilities, equipment, and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and execute 100-day plans following acquisitions.
  • Integrate businesses where appropriate while avoiding unnecessary corporate bureaucracy.
  • Identify opportunities to consolidate capabilities, purchasing, systems, customers, and best practices across the platform.
  • Recruit, develop, and manage high-performing Site Leaders and functional executives.
  • Build a culture of urgency, accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish succession plans and strengthen management teams at acquired companies.
  • Create an organization capable of operating multiple businesses without requiring ownership to manage day-to-day operations.
