Logitech puts users at centre of smarter workplace collaboration, says Murad Ali.

Logitech puts users at centre of smarter workplace collaboration, says Murad Ali. Murad Ali discusses how AI-enabled devices, intuitive design and workplace analytics can simplify meetings, improve employee experience and help businesses assess technology investments R ising expectations for seamless collaboration are prompting organisations to rethink workplace technology, from personal devices to shared meeting spaces. Ease of use, security and consistent experiences across office and remote settings are becoming central to adoption, while workplace analytics offer greater visibility into usage and investment value. Speaking to TahawulTech.com at Logitech's RISE event in Cairo, Murad Ali, Head of Middle East & Central Asia, Logitech for Business, explains how the company combines its understanding of consumer behaviour with enterprise collaboration needs. Ali discusses the role of AI, integrated devices and intuitive design in reducing friction and helping employees focus on their work. Interview excerpts How are AI-powered technologies helping organisations create smarter and more adaptive workplaces? AI has made users more capable and more demanding. Technology providers need to move faster to support those expectations and deliver solutions that accommodate new ways of working. Its latest products bring AI into collaboration through smarter cameras, clearer audio and richer workplace data. Beyond improving the meeting experience, insights into room conditions, lighting, occupancy and meeting duration can help organisations understand how their spaces are being used. Such information helps businesses assess their return on investment and make better decisions about workplace technology. The aim is to make collaboration smarter, easier and more accessible. What should businesses prioritise when adopting flexible and scalable collaboration solutions? Security should be a priority, alongside choosing the right technology partner. Businesses need solutions that work effectively with their existing collaboration platforms and provide dependable support. Tahawultech work closely with partners including Google, Zoom and Microsoft. Its role also involves helping customers and channel partners identify the right solutions for their requirements, drawing on its experience across personal workspaces and meeting rooms. After-sales support, product durability and environmental considerations also matter. Organisations should consider the materials used, packaging and product longevity alongside performance and ease of use. How can intuitive workplace technology improve productivity and the employee experience? People use smartphones and smart applications every day, so they expect workplace technology to be equally straightforward. Nobody wants to spend time troubleshooting equipment simply to make a call or start a meeting. A user should be able to sit down, access a touch panel and begin collaborating without needing to understand the systems or data flows behind it. Removing that complexity reduces interruptions and helps people focus on their work. Automation can also support what happens after a meeting, including capturing minutes and action points and distributing them with less manual effort. The value comes from making the entire experience easier, from joining a meeting to following up on decisions. How can organisations deliver an equally effective collaboration experience for employees in the office and working remotely? People are accustomed to accessible applications and high-quality cameras on their smartphones and personal devices. Returning to the office should provide a comparable or better experience. Its camera and audio technologies are designed to improve the meeting experience and support continuity between personal devices and office environments. Employees should be able to move between those settings without unnecessary disruption. Understanding users is central to that approach. People sit at the centre of its product design, with technology supporting the way they want to work. How is Logitech supporting collaboration beyond traditional meeting rooms? Deeper integration is making collaboration more flexible. Users increasingly expect to start a call on one device and continue on another seamlessly. Meeting analytics are also becoming more valuable. Organisations need to understand how their collaboration technology is being used, what happens after meetings and where further investment would be worthwhile. Its focus extends beyond video resolution and audio clarity to providing insights that businesses can use to improve their collaboration environments and assess the value of their investment. How are rising consumer expectations shaping Logitech's business strategy, regionally and globally? Its experience in consumer technology helps Tahawultech understand the expectations people bring into the workplace. A consumer is also an employee who may be using its products at a desk or in a meeting room. People want technology that is simple, requires less effort and allows them to concentrate on their work. Tahawultech has applied that understanding to its business portfolio, including integrated video bars that reduce the need for multiple separate devices. Its consumer and business portfolios complement each other. Knowledge gained from one helps inform the other, and both remain important to its strategy. Tahawultech continue developing products across both areas, guided by the same goal: making technology easier for people to use.

Logitech strengthens partner ecosystem to accelerate growth across emerging markets.

Logitech strengthens partner ecosystem to accelerate growth across emerging markets. Angelos Stefanidis discusses partner specialisation, RISE's regional expansion and the demand for secure, AI-enabled collaboration as organisations rethink hybrid workplaces Logitech is deepening investment in its partner ecosystem across emerging markets, with a focus on helping channel businesses address opportunities in enterprise, education and healthcare. Partner enablement, specialisation and locally aligned marketing investment form a central part of that approach. Speaking to Tahawultech.com during Logitech for Business's RISE partner gathering in Cairo, Angelos Stefanidis, Head of Business - IMEA (India, MEA, Central Asia), Logitech, discusses the company's channel priorities and the technology trends shaping workplace investment. Stefanidis also explains how RISE is evolving from local events into a larger regional gathering, bringing partners together to experience technology and exchange market insights. Interview excerpts How is Logitech's channel strategy evolving to strengthen partner ecosystems across emerging markets? Tahawultech want to bring technology to the markets in which Tahawultech operate more quickly. Its ecosystem spans unified communications and collaboration, audiovisual solutions and personal workspaces. Tahawultech invest directly with partners in local markets, including those where Tahawultech do not have a direct presence. Enterprise, education and healthcare are important areas of focus. Many of its partners share those priorities, so Tahawultech align its product offering and marketing investments with their strategies and the needs of each local market. How does RISE support Logitech for Business's growth ambitions and create opportunities for partners? RISE brings partners together in one location and gives them hands-on access to its technology, from headsets and webcams to AI-enabled video and audio collaboration systems. Some partners have not previously had the opportunity to see or experience these solutions directly. Tahawultech use the event to enable and motivate partners, explain incentives and simplify the programme structure so doing business with Tahawultech becomes easier. Tahawultech align its resources with shared priorities and provide opportunities for specialisation, helping certified and authorised Logitech partners differentiate themselves in their markets. Which trends are shaping the future workplace across emerging markets? Hybrid work, AI, sustainability and security are the main trends. Following the pandemic, organisations moved from fully remote working towards a return to the office. Many markets are now settling into hybrid arrangements, although the number of days employees spend in the office varies. AI is embedded in its approach to hardware, software and the user interface. The aim is to make video, audio and personal workspace technology easier to use. Sustainability also influences how Tahawultech design products, source materials and approach packaging. Product longevity matters because customers need to consider the full lifecycle and total cost of ownership of the technology they buy. Security remains a significant priority across enterprise, mid-market and smaller business customers. Tahawultech see those same trends in markets such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia and South Africa, where customers are adopting and deploying workplace technology. How is AI changing workplace collaboration, productivity and employee experience? Customers want technology that is easy to use, simple to set up and secure. Interoperability is also important. Tahawultech work with platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and Zoom so customers can use Logitech products across their collaboration environments. Meeting equity is another priority. Tabletop cameras can help remote participants see people in the meeting room more clearly, while Logitech Scribe supports sharing whiteboard content with people joining remotely. Awareness of these capabilities still varies, which makes partner education important. Partners need to experience the technology themselves before demonstrating its value to customers. Meeting room systems with integrated sensors can also provide information on temperature, CO[2] levels and occupancy and these capabilities help organisations understand their workplace environments and support decisions about how meeting spaces are used. How are customer priorities shifting as hybrid work matures? Security remains a top priority, alongside ease of deployment. Customers also want access to data that helps them make informed decisions about future investment. Sensors, management platforms and software can provide information for IT, HR and procurement teams. Organisations are rethinking the workplace, and data is becoming an important foundation for decisions about future office design. How has RISE evolved since its launch? Tahawultech introduced the RISE theme for its partner channel events three years ago, following the rollout of the Logitech partner programme in emerging markets. Initially, Tahawultech held local events in different markets to explain its strategy and the programme. This year, Tahawultech has scaled that approach into a larger regional gathering. Partners across different countries often share similar strategies, challenges, and concerns. Bringing them together gives them an opportunity to network, exchange experiences, and hear feedback from other markets. A regional event also allows Tahawultech to bring technology and global leadership together in one place. Tahawultech plan to hold the gathering in a different location next year, with partner feedback helping shape how RISE develops. Could future editions bring India into the regional RISE gathering? Tahawultech is considering integrating India next year. India is a major market for Tahawultech, and Tahawultech held a dedicated event there in June under the name Arohan, which reflects a similar idea of rising or elevating. Tahawultech retain the RISE theme in the Middle East and Africa because partners identify with it. Participation is linked to being part of its ecosystem and delivering results through the partner programme. Its aim is to give partners a reason to come, learn about technology and engage with its global leadership on the region's role in Logitech's growth plans.

Logitech wins two Australian design awards for mice. Mon, 12th Oct 2026 (Today) Logitech has won two honours at the 2026 Australian Good Design Awards for its G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE Gaming Mouse and MX Master 4 Wireless Mouse. Both were recognised in the Product Design Consumer Electronics category, with the gaming mouse receiving a Gold Award. The awards, part of Australia's longest-running international design programme, were presented under the theme Design that Leads. More than 1,000 guests from design, architecture, engineering, business, government and the creative industries attended the ceremony in Sydney. The G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE was singled out for its use of what Logitech describes as a patent-pending Haptic Inductive Trigger System. According to Logitech, the mouse replaces traditional mechanical switches with inductive analogue sensing and real-time haptic feedback. Judges said the design, aimed at competitive gaming, offered faster click response and greater durability, while giving professional esports players more options to adjust haptic settings. They also highlighted the integration of engineering and industrial design. "The Jury recognises the Logitech G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE Gaming Mouse for its innovative approach to competitive gaming performance through the patent-pending Haptic Inductive Trigger System," a jury spokesperson said. "By replacing traditional mechanical switches with inductive analogue sensing and real-time haptic feedback, the design delivers measurably faster click response times and enhanced durability. "The Jury commends the design and engineering team for their genuine exploration of tunable haptic technology, which introduces meaningful customisation options for professional esports athletes. This seamless integration of advanced engineering within a refined industrial design demonstrates strong technical credibility and market impact, establishing a new benchmark in gaming peripherals. Logitech continues to set the standard for design excellence in this product category - well done." The second award went to the MX Master 4 Wireless Mouse, which was named a winner in the same category. Judges focused on its haptic feedback, ergonomics and repair-focused design choices. According to the judging comments, the MX Master 4 builds on an established product line by adding a more intuitive tactile experience for professional users. "The Jury commends the Logitech MX Master 4 for its thoughtful evolution of an already well-resolved product through the integration of haptic feedback, creating a more intuitive and engaging user experience for demanding professionals. The Jury recognises the commitment to repairability and circularity, with design-for-disassembly principles genuinely integrated alongside premium materials including low-carbon aluminium and recycled plastics. "The refined ergonomic form, customisable haptics and software-enabled workflow enhancements demonstrate strong systems-level thinking and maturity in balancing tactile interaction with professional productivity needs. The Jury congratulates the Logitech design team on establishing a strong benchmark within this premium peripheral category," the spokesperson said. For Logitech, the awards span two distinct segments of the peripherals market: gaming hardware and office productivity devices. The recognition also highlights the commercial importance of industrial design in categories where manufacturers compete on user comfort, longevity and specialised features rather than basic functionality alone. Damian Lepore, Managing Director, Logitech ANZ, said the awards recognised both design and ergonomics across the company's product range. "We're incredibly proud that both the PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE and MX Master 4 have been recognised at this year's Australian Good Design Awards," Damian Lepore, Managing Director, Logitech ANZ, said. "It's been especially welcome to see the former honoured as a Gold Winner due to its innovative Haptic Inductive Trigger System. "These awards matter because they acknowledge how our global team has come together to create products that prioritise good design and ergonomics. Logitech peripherals are a key part of Australians' lives, whether at home or work, and our commitment to good design principles ensures ease of use whenever or wherever they are needed."

Alongside the video bar, Logitech released the Tap IP 2 network-connected touch controller and the Tap Scheduler 2 room scheduling panel, with global shipments underway. Learn AI Tools Rally System 2 Pro targets complex spaces for summer 2027 release. Large, multi-purpose conference rooms and divisible training spaces account for roughly 10 percent of a typical corporate room count but consume nearly 90 percent of IT and AV support effort. To address that disparity, Logitech announced the modular Rally System 2 Pro, scheduled for release in the summer of 2027. Ahead of its release, customers can preview the system at the Logitech Experience Center in Silicon Valley. The modular suite includes the RoomMate 2 Pro compute unit capable of managing multiple cameras, mic pods, and up to three 4K displays while supporting Android, PC-paired setups, or bring-your-own-device (BYOD) modes. Joining it are the Rally AI Camera Pro and Rally Mic Pods 2 configured for table or ceiling mounting. The system integrates with the Sync cloud-based management software. Additionally, Logitech will release RightSight 3, a multi-camera tracking intelligence update, in the second half of 2027. Sound Shape audio technology enters the Pro AV market. Marking Logitech's entry into the professional audiovisual market, the company debuted the Rally Speaker 2 Pro and Rally Speaker 2 Max, housing proprietary Sound Shape audio technology designed to replace ceiling speaker installations in extra-large rooms and executive boardrooms. Learn Engineering "Today, we cross the boundary from science fiction into a bold new era of human interaction," Karthik Rajagopal, Head of VC Engineering at Logitech Karthik Rajagopal, Head of VC Engineering at Logitech, stated that the company has replaced the brute-force approach of increasing room volume with wave-field physics, which essentially steers sound waves through open air with surgical precision. The Rally Speaker 2 Pro utilizes a matrix array of 32 micro-drivers in a single front-mounted soundbar, while the Rally Speaker 2 Max expands coverage using 64 micro-drivers for spaces up to 20 meters or 65 feet in length. The acoustic steering ensures volume drops by only about the level of a human breath from the front row to the back row. In early development previews, Logitech demonstrated a multilingual capability enabled by the precise sound targeting of Sound Shape technology. A single Rally Speaker 2 Max mounted at the front can direct two distinct audio feeds to opposite sides of a room simultaneously. "The international boardroom of the future isn't about finding a single universal dialect - it's about translation coexisting in the same acoustic space." Karthik Rajagopal, Head of VC Engineering at Logitech Logitech is collaborating with partners to integrate Interpreter in Microsoft Teams meetings and Voice Translator in Zoom Meetings with the new audio hardware. Channel strategy and financial health supporting the ecosystem. Crystal Ferreira, global head of channel and alliance for Logitech for Business, stated that the company is encouraging channel partners to look beyond standard meeting rooms and evaluate peripheral usage at individual desks. Ferreira wants to add more global systems integrators to the Logitech partner ecosystem and is working on a program for consultants. Optimize Ops On the supply chain front, Ferreira confirmed that manufacturing across multiple locations has insulated the vendor from hardware shortages affecting other hardware providers, stating that Logitech maintains high supply levels with no reported supply constraints.
