About the job
- At least 2 years of expediting or scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Project management skills.
- Proficiency with operations planning and enterprise resource planning/material requirements planning systems, such as SAP or Oracle, and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to interpret basic aerospace engineering drawings, parts lists, and routing sheets.
- Serve as an on-site customer representative.
- Operate as a production expeditor by coordinating and monitoring the flow of materials and forging-part production to ensure manufacturing schedules are met efficiently.
- Track order statuses and resolve bottlenecks with the supplier.
- Monitor supplier manufacturing processes closely to identify and address delays early.
- Communicate daily with customer regional and site teams about order status and expected delivery dates.
- Update the line of balance and demand order book.
