About the Role
As a Strategic Account Executive, you will use your strategic selling and relationship leadership skills to educate prospective customers on the value of UPSTACK while rapidly growing our market share with our existing customers. You will serve as a trusted advisor, share insights, and continually seek opportunities for growth to solve business challenges for your strategic customers. You’ll gain cross-functional experience working with multiple internal colleagues: customer success, marketing, product, sales enablement, solution engineers, sales development, etc.

Key Responsibilities
- Plans, builds, and maintains relationships with key stakeholders in key accounts
- Facilitates customer relationships to ensure timely resolution of issues
- Leads and drives coordinated sales approach with the extended sales team and external partners
- Understands business drivers of accounts and leverages strategic alliances and reseller partners to penetrate accounts
- Research and document a detailed understanding of the customer business and organizational landscape
- Develops strategic, global account plans focused on maintaining/growing accounts
- Actively monitors and maintains the status of opportunities in SFDC with effective forecasting outcomes
- Conducts quarterly business reviews with customers to identify and develop new selling opportunities
Education
- Bachelor’s degree encouraged, but not required
Required Qualifications
- At least 7 years of proven full-cycle sales experience in the Technology and Telecommunications Industry
- Strong business development skills with experience prospecting and bringing in new business
- Experience selling to the C-Suite
- Ability to build and deliver presentations to direct customers
- Ability to orchestrate multiple internal resources and extended team members including solutions engineers, customer success, and product-specific specialists
- Ideally comes with a book of business
Additional Requirements
- Technology Savvy: Familiarity with CRM software and digital sales tools
Salary Range
Employees new to UPSTACK typically come in at the start of the pay range. UPSTACK focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure, which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, and job-related skills.
The salary range for this role is $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually plus participation in the variable commissions structure.
