Firebirds Wood Fired Grill brings wood-fired flavor and signature hospitality to Wake Forest.

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill brings wood-fired flavor and signature hospitality to Wake Forest. Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is preparing to bring its signature combination of bold flavors, warm hospitality, and elevated dining to Wake Forest, with an anticipated opening by the end of September. At the heart of Firebirds is its mission: "Creating extraordinary experiences through hospitality." Known across the United States for its warm atmosphere, scratch kitchen, and wood-fired grill, Firebirds centers its menu around one of the oldest and most satisfying methods of cooking: fire. Locally sourced hardwoods and unique grilling techniques bring bold flavors to hand-cut, aged steaks, fresh seafood, and other American favorites. Craft cocktails round out the experience. With more than 76 restaurants expected to be operating by the end of 2026, Firebirds continues to expand its presence across the country. Aggie Hughes, Marketing Manager for Firebirds, shared an update on the upcoming Wake Forest restaurant, which will become the company's 74th and will be located within the Grove 98 development at 1311 Grove Village Road. Hughes shared that the Firebirds team is excited to become part of Wake Forest, a thriving and growing community that continues to welcome new businesses, residents, and opportunities. With an established presence in the Triangle, the company sees Wake Forest as a natural fit for its continued growth and looks forward to building lasting relationships within the community. The Wake Forest location will feature a newly created Firebirds footprint with a lighter, brighter aesthetic. Wood grain elements will be incorporated throughout the furniture, fixtures, artwork, and décor, bringing warmth and character to the space. Hospitality is Firebirds' "North Star" and is ingrained in the company from the beginning. Every team member, regardless of position, is trained to understand their role in making guests feel welcome and celebrated. That training goes beyond learning the responsibilities of a position. Team members experience different parts of the restaurant, from kitchen preparation to tasting the menu themselves. This firsthand knowledge allows them to confidently offer genuine recommendations to guests. Firebirds believes the little things make the biggest difference in a guest's experience. They refer to these thoughtful touches as "unexpected delights." Order the ribs, for example, and a hot towel may arrive afterward. During your meal, a team member may discreetly clear crumbs from the table. Small gestures, but intentional ones. Martini fans can expect another signature touch. To ensure the coldest possible pour, a freshly shaken martini is brought directly to the table and poured for the guest, keeping it perfectly chilled while adding a little theater to the experience. Firebirds believes this attention to detail builds loyalty. The goal is for guests to remember more than the meal and leave wanting to return. Firebirds has a history of partnering with local organizations, chambers of commerce, and networking groups and looks forward to becoming an active part of the Wake Forest community. For the Wake Forest Business & Industry Partnership (WFBIP), attracting new businesses is an important part of economic development, but equally important are the relationships those businesses build once they arrive. "Wake Forest continues to experience tremendous growth, and businesses like Firebirds contribute to the economic vitality of our community," said Jason Cannon, President of WFBIP. "We value businesses that not only choose to invest here, but also understand the importance of building strong community partnerships. We look forward to welcoming Firebirds to Wake Forest and seeing them become part of the fabric of our growing community." Firebirds anticipates opening its doors by the end of September 2026. Get ready to experience the wood-fired flavors, signature hospitality, and perhaps a Double Black Diamond Martini poured tableside. Your table awaits. Before You Go * Reservations are recommended. * Dress is smart casual. * Happy Hour in the FIREBAR is offered Monday through Friday. * Menus, pricing, calorie and dietary information, and allergen information are available on the Firebirds website.

CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA - March 11, 2026 - Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, the award-winning, polished-casual American restaurant and steakhouse, recently unveiled a new iteration of its celebrated Jr. Chefs Club, a kid-friendly membership program designed to engage families and inspire the next generation of culinary leaders. Following a successful pilot, the newly reimagined program - developed in partnership with Just 4 Fun - Kids & Family Marketing - aims to give kids essential tools and guidance to have fun and get creative in the kitchen. The Jr. Chefs Club is open to children 12 and under, and parents or guardians can enroll up to five children under their email profile. Centered around "edutainment," the program focuses on teaching young chefs about common culinary skills and wood-fired cooking, with a spotlight on Firebirds' signature menu items. Equipped with simple tools, Jr. Chefs Club members will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on experiences, make simple, flavorful dishes, and earn fun rewards. "For more than 25 years, we've proudly served families and children of all ages. Today, we're thrilled to introduce a new Jr. Chefs Club, designed to encourage and inspire young fans to nurture a lifelong passion for cooking and quality food," said Stephen Loftis, Chief Brand Officer at Firebirds Wood Fired Grill. "This program offers an opportunity for families to engage with our brand outside the four walls of our restaurants, while providing our youngest guests the freedom to explore their culinary creativity and curiosity in the kitchen." The Jr. Chefs Club rewards guests based on restaurant visits and brand engagement. New members receive a Jr. Chef T-shirt upon signup, with the opportunity to earn additional items.* The more often families dine at Firebirds and order kids' meals, the more Jr. Chef apparel and cooking essentials young chefs can collect. The program features complimentary chef-inspired Jr. Chef cooking essentials - including an introductory T-shirt, kitchen apron, chef's hat, whisk, spatula, mixing spoon, and mixing bowl - everything young chefs need to get creative in the kitchen. Families stay connected through monthly recipes delivered to parents' or guardians' email address, fun at-home cooking ideas, seasonal Firebirds menu updates, and early invitations to special events like Lemonade Days, supporting Firebirds' philanthropic partner, Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. Additionally, every Jr. Chef is celebrated with a sweet birthday treat - a free kids sundae with the purchase of a kids' menu item. *All Jr. Chefs Club items meet strict safety standards, including UL Product Safety Test Report compliance with The Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) for children 3+, ensuring parents can feel confident about the quality and safety of rewards.
