  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; active member of the Bar in good standing.
  • 7+ years of experience practicing law, preferably with a focus on aerospace, defense, or technology sectors.
  • Proven track record of providing strategic legal advice and counsel in a corporate environment.

  • To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the principal legal advisor to the company's executives and board of directors.
  • Provide guidance on legal matters related to corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and strategic transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including agreements with suppliers, customers, and partners.
  • Manage and protect the company's intellectual property portfolio, including patents, trademarks, and trade secrets.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Handle litigation and legal disputes, working with external counsel as necessary.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support business initiatives and decision-making.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks and ensure best practices.
