Givaudan Active Beauty's PrimalHyal(TM) NeuroYouth has received its eighth major industry recognition, with the Gold Best Ingredient Award at in-cosmetics LATAM 2026.

Givaudan Active Beauty's PrimalHyal(TM) NeuroYouth has received its eighth major industry recognition, with the Gold Best Ingredient Award at in-cosmetics LATAM 2026. PrimalHyal(TM) NeuroYouth, Givaudan Active Beauty's breakthrough neuroactive ingredient, continues to gain international recognition, securing its eighth major industry award with the Gold Best Ingredient Award at in-cosmetics LATAM 2026. The latest accolade once again confirms the industry's enthusiasm for this next-generation ingredient, which addresses one of the most emerging areas of skin longevity science: the connection between neuroageing and visible skin ageing. Since its launch, PrimalHyal(TM) NeuroYouth has garnered remarkable recognition in global beauty markets, winning awards from leading industry organisations, including: * in-cosmetics LATAM, Gold Best Ingredient Award - Active category * in-cosmetics Global, Silver Green Ingredient Award - Active category * in-cosmetics Korea, K-Beauty Standout Award * in-cosmetics Korea, Best Ingredient Award - Active category * China, Ringier Technology Innovation Award * BSB Innovation Award, Actives Category - Skin rejuvenation / well-ageing * New Zealand Society of Cosmetic Chemists, Best Active Ingredient Award * Cosmohome Tech Expo India, Emerging Ingredient Award This unprecedented series of awards highlights the ingredient's ability to resonate with brands and scientific experts worldwide. Pioneering a New Frontier: Neuro Skin Ageing Beyond industry recognition, the science underpinning PrimalHyal(TM) NeuroYouth has also gained recognition from the global cosmetic science community. At the 2025 IFSCC Congress, Givaudan Active Beauty's research, "The Ageing Process: Unraveling the Connection Between Neuroageing and Skin Sensitivity", was ranked among the Top 10 podium presentations of the event. Building on this momentum, Givaudan Active Beauty will take part in this year's IFSCC Congress in Australia to present the latest findings from this pioneering research into Neuro Skin Ageing. Backed by cutting-edge research, PrimalHyal(TM) NeuroYouth targets a newly identified ageing pathway linked to the decline of skin nerve fibres and neuronal communication. Clinical studies involving more than 120 volunteers demonstrated significant benefits, including a reduction of apparent skin age by over five years, visible wrinkle reduction, improved skin firmness and the restoration of touch perception to levels associated with skin up to 30 years younger. New Benchmark for Innovation The combination of breakthrough scientific research, proven clinical efficacy and eight prestigious international awards demonstrate that PrimalHyal(TM) NeuroYouth is more than a successful ingredient launch. It represents a new benchmark for innovation in beauty, where scientific excellence, measurable performance and market relevance converge. "The growing international recognition of PrimalHyal(TM) NeuroYouth across Europe, Asia, Oceania and Latin America highlights its position as one of the most awarded cosmetic active ingredients of recent years, confirming Givaudan Active Beauty's commitment to breakthrough scientific innovation." Mathias Fleury, Head of Actives, Givaudan Active Beauty. As momentum continues to build around PrimalHyal(TM) NeuroYouth, its influence is already extending beyond the ingredient itself. Leveraging its pioneering Neuro Skin Ageing approach, Givaudan Active Beauty developed the S3D(R) ReSense concept, which recently received a BSB Innovation Award. This latest distinction demonstrates how the science behind PrimalHyal(TM) NeuroYouth is already inspiring next-generation skincare concepts, capturing the attention of industry experts and creating new opportunities for brands seeking differentiated, science-backed innovation About Givaudan Givaudan is a global leader in Fragrance & Beauty and Taste & Wellbeing. Givaudan achieves industry-first dual certification for its Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) programme.

Givaudan achieves industry-first dual certification for its Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) programme. Currently covering more than 90,000 products in Company's portfolio Download list 21 Sep 2026 - 07:00 CEST Givaudan today announced that its Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) programme has been certified by TÜV SÜD as compliant with the Together for Sustainability (TfS) PCF Verification and Programme Certification Framework and in alignment with the WBCSD Partnership for Carbon Transparency (PACT). The programme is the first in the flavours and fragrances industry to achieve this combined independent recognition. This certification recognises the strength of Givaudan's PCF programme, reinforcing the company's commitment to providing customers with transparent, consistent and actionable carbon footprint data across its portfolio. The programme represents an important milestone in enabling Givaudan to measure, track and reduce product carbon footprints at scale while supporting the Company's ambition to reach net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across its value chain by 2045. "This dual certification marks an important milestone on our journey to net zero and reinforces the deep interdependency and connection between our own sustainability journey and those of our customers. Transparency and collaboration are the foundation of meaningful climate action, and our PCF programme allows us to deliver robust and consistent data to our customers, enabling us to directly support their own goals and ambitions at the same time as delivering concrete, meaningful progress on our own. It is through this kind of collaboration that we can help catalyse real shared business value and drive even greater transparency as we work together to deliver sustainable growth." Christian Stammkoetter, CEO A Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) measures the greenhouse gas emissions associated with a product. Through its PCF programme, Givaudan assesses emissions for each product from cradle to factory gate, providing robust, science-based data that supports greater transparency and helps identify opportunities to reduce emissions across value chains. Givaudan's certified PCF programme currently covers more than 90,000 products across the Company's portfolio. The programme enables the exchange of standardised carbon footprint data aligned with recognised industry methodologies, helping customers integrate emissions data more effectively into their reporting and decision-making processes. TÜV SÜD is a leading global provider of testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) services. WBCSD PACT is a global initiative hosted by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) to standardise how companies calculate, share, and use product carbon data. Together for Sustainability (TfS) is a global, procurement-driven initiative created by chemical companies with the goal of assessing, auditing and improving the sustainability practices within their global supply chains. This independent recognition further strengthens Givaudan's ability to support customers in achieving their own sustainability goals while contributing to the global transition towards a more resilient, low-carbon economy. Givaudan's net-zero targets were validated by the Science Based Targets initiative in January 2025, and the Company continues to implement its Net-Zero Transition Plan outlining the roadmap towards these objectives. In January 2026, Givaudan was recognised with its seventh consecutive CDP A for climate action and in May the Company received a CDP A for supplier climate action.
