Howl expands Saint Laurent eyewear with oversized frames.

Howl expands Saint Laurent eyewear with oversized frames. Oversized rectangular and pilot frames define Saint Laurent's new eyewear line under Anthony Vaccarello. Saint Laurent introduces HOWL, a new eyewear line first presented with the Men's Summer 26 collection and later shown on the Women Summer 26 runway alongside the Women Spring 26 collection. The project arrives under the art direction of Anthony Vaccarello, with a film directed by Glen Luchford and starring model Agel Akol. HOWL expands Saint Laurent's eyewear offering through frames that emphasize strong volume and a pronounced plumped effect. Vaccarello defines HOWL through sculptural form and contemporary precision, with exaggerated proportions and smooth surfaces shaping each frame. The plumped construction creates a distinct visual weight that sets the collection apart within Saint Laurent's eyewear portfolio. HOWL launches with two silhouettes that establish the foundation of the line. The first design, SL 901, presents an oversized rectangular frame defined by its large scale and strong horizontal line. The proportions create a confident visual structure while maintaining the smooth, plumped construction that characterizes the entire collection. Discover more Best fashion retailers Beautyscene saint laurent The second silhouette, SL 902, adopts an oversized pilot shape. The design references the familiar pilot structure while expanding the scale and surface treatment in line with the collection's visual direction. Like the SL 901, the SL 902 features glossy surfaces and the plumped construction that defines HOWL. The temples carry the Maison's vintage logo, which introduces a recognizable Saint Laurent detail within the contemporary eyewear design. Saint Laurent offers the HOWL line in an extensive color palette that extends the visual possibilities of the frames. The range includes deep black and rich brown tones that anchor the collection in classic eyewear colors. The palette also expands into transparent variations that include beige, cognac, khaki, yellow, red, and nicotine-toned options. HOWL establishes a clear identity within Saint Laurent eyewear through oversized proportions, sculptural surfaces, and its signature plumped construction. SAINT LAURENT appoints Johnny Coca as creative director of leather goods

SAINT LAURENT appoints Johnny Coca as creative director of leather goods. Posted On February 16, 2026 CPP-LUXURY Under the leadership of CEO Cédric Charbit, SAINT LAURENT has appointed Johnny Coca creative director of men's and women's leather goods, as well as all accessories and lifestyle collections. The designer confirmed persistent rumours of the appointment over the weekend on his LinkedIn account. His remit will be to express Anthony Vaccarello's creative vision across the brand's leather goods and accessories ranges. Before joining Saint Laurent, the 50-year-old designer was director of women's leather goods at Louis Vuitton, to which he returned in 2020. After studying at the Boulle and Duperré schools in Paris, the Spanish-born designer began his career at Louis Vuitton's Asnières workshops. He spent five years as creative director of the British house Mulberry, where he designed bags such as the Amberley and the Iris. His time at Céline during the Phoebe Philo era remains one of the most significant periods of his career; he notably oversaw the development of iconic bags such as the Trapeze and the Trio. This appointment comes at a time of transformation for the Kering group. According to the financial results for the 2025 financial year, the group reported revenue of €14.7 billion. Within this total, Saint Laurent generated annual revenue of €2.6 billion. Although this figure was down 6% year on year on a comparable basis, the label maintained solid profitability, with a recurring operating margin of 20%. Johnny Coca's arrival forms part of a strategy to consolidate the brand's growth pillars. By bringing in an expert renowned for helping to drive the success of global 'It bags', Saint Laurent aims to strengthen the appeal of its accessory lines while remaining perfectly aligned with the silhouette and allure defined by Anthony Vaccarello.
