Otto Media Grup and TikTok join forces for fashion creator camp with 15 brands to strengthen Indonesia's creator ecosystem. 12/10/2026 Jakarta, Indonesia, October 12, 2026 - Otto Media Grup and TikTok officially co-hosted the six-day TikTok Fashion Camp from September 21 to 26. Combining intensive office-based training with hands-on advanced sessions, the program provided Indonesian fashion content creators with opportunities for professional learning, practical experience, and commercial growth. A total of 60 creators participated in the first day of training, with 20 selected to advance to the second stage of the program. The camp was also supported by 15 fashion and lifestyle brand partners. The first day of the camp was held at the Otto Media office, where 60 creators gathered for an intensive training session jointly organized by Otto Media and TikTok. From September 22 to 26, the camp moved to an outdoor villa in Lembang, Bandung, where an advanced training group of 16 Live Hosts and 4 Co-Hosts continued with five days of focused training and knowledge exchange. To create a more relaxed and engaging environment for creator development, Otto Media also prepared a variety of food for participants to enjoy together around an outdoor dining table while sharing their experiences. Outside the formal training sessions, these informal moments gave participants the opportunity to get to know one another, exchange ideas, build friendships, and develop connections within the creator community. A total of 11 team members from Otto Media and TikTok were involved in organizing the program and managing its on-site execution, reflecting the strong partnership between the two parties in creator development and content ecosystem building. Across the six-day program, the camp combined platform engagement, professional development, and social interaction to create a more comprehensive learning experience for participants. It also established a foundation for further collaboration between brands and creators. The camp brought together 15 partner brands, including Lozy Hijab, Veyle Fashion Store, Veyle Collections, 99k Outlet, Zevia Indonesia, joybasic.id, BOSTANTEN.SHOES, UNITWO Home, Hefand, Cartiera Indonesia, Basic Threads, Hijabmoodbeauty, Higood, Lafiro, and Hyrascarves. The participating brands represent a range of sectors, including fashion and apparel, hijabs, footwear, beauty, and lifestyle. The breadth of brand participation also reflects the increasingly close relationship between Indonesia's female consumer market and its growing creator economy. Otto Media Grup has long focused on women-oriented consumer sectors, including beauty, skincare, fashion, and lifestyle. Through its creator network, offline brand matchmaking, content production, livestreaming, and media technology capabilities, the company builds more efficient channels for collaboration between brands and creators. The camp jointly organized with TikTok further strengthens Otto Media's practical capabilities in offline talent development, platform resource integration, and supporting creators' commercial growth. Otto Media continues to explore ways to integrate creator profiles, content performance, brand requirements, and partnership experience into a more systematic analytical framework, strengthening the connection between professional training and long-term commercial development. Looking ahead, Otto Media will continue to deepen its partnerships with platforms and local brands, create more opportunities for the professional development of Indonesian creators, and support outstanding local women-focused consumer brands in strengthening their digital communication capabilities, while exploring opportunities to expand from the Indonesian market into global markets. AI set to continue growing, but how it unlocks value is the question: TikTok, Broadcom, Intel CEOs. TikTok chief executive officer Chew Shou Zi speaking at the DBS Asia Future Forward Conference at Suntec Convention and Exhibition Centre on Oct 12. Published Oct 12, 2026, 06:15 PM Updated Oct 12, 2026, 09:25 PM SINGAPORE - Artificial intelligence is set to continue its growth and may even surpass some human capabilities, but what matters is how it can unlock value for businesses and society, said the chief executives of three major tech companies. TikTok CEO Chew Shou Zi said there is a "non-zero chance" that AI could surpass humans in certain ways in the future, but he also noted the importance of human judgment and creativity even as AI becomes more widely used. Meanwhile, in response to a question by DBS CEO Tan Su Shan on whether the world is "overbuilding" AI infrastructure, Broadcom CEO Hock Tan and Intel CEO Tan Lip-Bu said the demand for AI infrastructure will continue to grow in the next three to five years, limited mainly by supply constraints. They were speaking on panels at the inaugural DBS Asia Future Forward Conference held at Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre on Oct 12. Organised by DBS, the new flagship event brings together global leaders across technology, business and investment to examine the forces shaping the region's future. Chew said AI models might currently be unable to do certain things that humans can, such as rapid visual learning or long-term memory retrieval. But he added: "The technology is evolving, (and) you can see a world where silicon is just superior to carbon.

Nectar MCP brings consumer and creator data to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Copilot.

Nectar MCP brings consumer and creator data to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Copilot. Business Wire Published Oct 09, 2026 Nectar puts social, community, creator, customer care and insights teams on one platform. Now its answers come to the AI assistant businesses already use. PALO ALTO, Calif. - Nectar, the agentic growth operating system connecting businesses to consumers, today launched Nectar MCP, which connects a brand's Nectar data to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Copilot. It is built on the Model Context Protocol, the open standard AI assistants use to connect to outside data. Story continues below This advertisement has not loaded yet, but your article continues below. AI assistants have become where a lot of marketing work happens. Teams have connected them to their sales numbers and their plans, but the assistants still can't see the customer: what people are asking for and complaining about on social media, and which creators they listen to. That is increasingly where buying decisions get made. Until now, getting that into a chat meant exporting a report from a dashboard and pasting it in or uploading spreadsheets, and most of the context was lost along the way. Top Stories Interested in more newsletters? Browse here. Nectar MCP removes that step. Once it's connected, the assistant can work from the same data Nectar gathers through its official data partnerships with Meta, TikTok, Reddit, YouTube and X. This includes data such as the comments and mentions around the brand, the creators talking about the brand and the competitors it tracks, along with the analysis Nectar runs on all of it. Teams already ask Nectar's agent questions like these. Now they can ask them in the assistant they use for everything else: * Community: What are people saying about our launch, and how has sentiment shifted since it went live? * Creator: Find US beauty creators who've posted about our two biggest competitors in the last 90 days but never about us. * Social: Which trending TikTok sounds and formats in our category should we try this week, and what would an on-brand version look like? * Customer care: What are customers asking us most this month, and what creative would work well for meta ads? * Insights: We want to enter this product category, how are competitor products performing, where are they falling short? "Every company is trying to give its AI the full picture of the business, and what customers say has been the missing piece," said Misbah Uraizee, co-founder and CEO of Nectar. "Social is the most honest signal a brand gets, and until now performance and consumer insights have lived in dashboards no AI could read. Now a marketer can ask how last week's launch landed and what to do next, and get one answer that connects what customers said with what they bought." "Since 2023 we've been building the data infrastructure for social: the content, comments and creators and consumer signals around a brand, collected and organized as they happen," said Farah Uraizee, co-founder and CTO of Nectar. "MCP is how that reaches the rest of the business. We want Nectar to be for consumer conversations what Bloomberg is for market data, the source that every system and every agent checks first." Story continues below This advertisement has not loaded yet, but your article continues below. Availability Nectar MCP is available today to Nectar customers. It works with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Copilot, and with Cursor or any other MCP-compatible agent, including ones teams build themselves. Setup takes a few minutes and doesn't need an engineer. Each person sees only the Nectar workspaces they already have access to, and admins can switch access off at any time. To see it in action or book a demo, visit About Nectar Nectar is the agentic growth operating system for brands. Its AI agents support customers, listen everywhere, discover and scale creator campaigns, sharing one intelligence that learns from every customer interaction.
