At least 4 years of experience as a CNC Machinist.
Experience operating Giddings & Lewis (G&L) Vertical Turning Lathes (VTLs), including machining large, heavy, and complex components such as engine blocks, turbine rotors, and large gears.
Ability to perform precision turning, boring, and facing operations while maintaining tight tolerances.
Familiarity with CNC controls, machine setup, and vertical spindle configurations for safe, stable, and efficient workpiece handling.
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
Proficiency in mathematics and computer skills as they apply to CNC machining operations.
Ability to support first- and second-shift assignments, overtime, and weekend work as needed.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Reliable, positive, and able to work as part of a team.
