- Serve as the primary Information Technology Finance resource for cross-functional projects, ensuring financial system requirements are prioritized and delivered according to business needs.
- Lead and oversee production support activities for financial issues and applications, serving as the primary point of contact for complex functional issues and relaying technical requirements to development teams.
- Manage the finance-related ticket queue, ensuring timely resolution of production defects while adhering to change management and audit protocols.
- Partner with Finance and Accounting leadership to identify and implement process improvements that enhance reporting accuracy and month-end efficiency.
- Lead the design and development of Information Technology solutions for financial restructuring initiatives, aligning with business objectives and ensuring data integrity.
- Architect and drive complex business requirements, translating them into scalable M3 ERP configurations and overseeing comprehensive end-to-end testing.
- Optimize and strategically integrate Hyperion and other financial reporting platforms, defining roadmaps and ensuring architectural alignment.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, influence strategic decisions, and align technology initiatives with corporate financial goals.
- Engage stakeholders on projects, facilitate communication, and resolve complex audit or compliance issues.
- Manage strategic partnerships with third-party vendors, including Oracle/Hyperion, banking interfaces, EDI VANs, and Esker.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the finance landscape using Lean and Kaizen principles to improve Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger processes.
- Participate as the primary Information Technology Finance representative in business process improvement events and design optimized automated solutions.
- Plan, implement, and optimize financial solutions for electronic data exchange supporting invoicing and payments.
- Lead complex problem-solving and root cause analysis for critical financial system issues, maximizing uptime and ensuring data reconciliation.
- Develop and implement documentation for system architecture, configurations, and internal controls related to SOX and audits.
- Lead the planning, execution, and oversight of new system implementations and financial data migration activities.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including user acceptance testing.
- Provide on-site support in Romeoville and Oak Brook, Illinois, with occasional travel for implementations and initiatives; evening and weekend work may be required during month-end or year-end close.
