About the company

Payflip is a Belgian HR tech SaaS platform that enables flexible, personalized employee compensation through a cafeteria plan. Its system acts as a digital benefits marketplace integrated with payroll, allowing employees to swap traditional salary components for tax-friendly benefits and browse options like mobility, electronics, extra vacation days, pension savings, and insurance. Payslips are automatically updated as employees select benefits, and the platform coordinates with payroll providers to streamline administration. Payflip differentiates itself by combining payroll integration with a benefits marketplace and partnering with suppliers to simplify purchases for SMEs up to large enterprises, including a lighter version for small teams. The goal is to increase employee engagement and satisfaction by giving staff more control over their pay while keeping employer costs steady.

What believers are saying

  • Payflip's meal vouchers launch in H2 2026 with Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
  • March 2026 recognition opens a €4 billion Belgian meal-voucher market.
  • Belgium's 2026 mobility-budget rules and €10 meal-voucher ceiling expand demand.

What critics are saying

  • Edenred, Monizze, and Pluxee control entrenched merchant acceptance and payroll integrations.
  • Payflip still needs nationwide merchant adoption before its H2 2026 voucher rollout.
  • Any launch failure blocks revenue and traps Payflip as a small HR software vendor.

What makes Payflip unique

  • March 2026, Payflip became Belgium's fourth meal-voucher issuer after fifteen years.
  • Its fixed monthly employer fee undercuts rival transaction-based pricing.
  • Payflip already automates cafeteria plans, mobility budgets, and benefits for 50,000 employees.
