About the job
- The internship must be part of a hospitality or tourism training program.
- French proficiency is required.
- A good knowledge of English is required.
- The ability to use Microsoft Windows applications is required.

- The candidate must be responsible and reliable.

- The candidate must hold a Swiss work permit or be from an eligible European Union country (EU-17 or EU-8).
- The candidate must be able to stand or walk throughout the work period frequently, and occasionally kneel, push, pull, lift, or use stairs.
- Provide consistently professional, friendly, and engaging service.
- Welcome guests and process check-ins and check-outs according to chain standards.
- Escort guests to their rooms and explain hotel facilities and operations.
- Assist guests with specific requests.
- Promote the hotel's outlets, including restaurants, bars, and the spa.
- Make reservations.
- Answer telephone calls and manage the switchboard.
- Follow up on complaints and ensure communication.
- Promote the loyalty program.
- Follow up on guest requests involving technical services, linen, lost and found, and other matters.
- Apply technical and emotional LQA standards.
- Maintain service quality, discretion, and honesty.
- Maintain a professional, pleasant demeanor and remain calm at all times.
- Follow ergonomic, health and safety, hygiene, and sanitation requirements.
- Follow the department's and company's policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Proficiency in a third language—German, Arabic, or Russian—is an asset.
