The International Wealth Management (IWM) Wealth Advisor 3 serves the Non-Resident/Foreign Nationals client segment including PEPs, PICS and select professional firms, managing a portfolio of approximately 25-50 clients. A IWM Wealth Advisor 3 develops and maintains a portfolio of important revenue generating client relationships within the defined Reserve/GenSpring market segment based upon objective and sound personal financial planning and financial advisory concepts. An IWM Wealth Advisor provides integrated delivery of a broad range of wealth products and services including financial planning, asset management, personal trust and estate planning, insurance and risk management services, consumer/commercial credit, residential lending, commercial real estate, and general personal & business banking services to international clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. As the primary point of contact, integration and responsibility for IWM clients, WA’s sell, deliver and provide ongoing service for a broad range of fee income and retail banking products and services appropriate to our affluent NRA clients. WA’s should deliver a level of personalized, attentive advisory service that clients deem outstanding.
2. The role requires significant relationship management, business development, presentation and sales skills that establish the WA as a trusted, client-focused, financial advisor with capabilities to serve affluent clients, including UHNW segment ($5MM+). Generates =$3MM in annualized book revenues.
3. Responsible for new client acquisition and the growth, enhancement and retention of their existing book of business. Seek to grow AUM, Deposits & Loan portfolios through outside & internal referrals.
4. Provides integrated delivery of a broad range of wealth products and services including financial planning, asset management, personal trust and estate planning, insurance and risk management services, consumer/commercial credit, residential lending, CRE, and general personal & business banking services.
5. Establish and update periodically your understanding of client financial needs and conditions based upon sound profiling and personal financial planning analysis. Actively monitor directly assigned investment accounts for adherence to investment and asset allocation objectives and policies. .
6. Establish and maintain mutually beneficial business relationships with centers of influence such as internal regional partners (i.e. Business Bankers, Corporate Bankers, local advisory board members, etc.), and external partners such as CPA’s, attorney’s, civic associations and other individuals and organizations that will enhance your business development efforts.
7. Keep abreast of changing global geopolitical, legal, financial planning, investment trends and general market and business issues affecting wealthy International clients. Serve as a personal financial planning/advisory resource for clients, their attorney’s and CPA’s
8. Provide mentoring to less experienced Wealth Management staff in support of establishing an extraordinarily high level of professionalism, client service and responsiveness.
9. Work within the existing audit, compliance and regulatory framework in order to ensure a high quality, compliant portfolio of client relationships and IWM internal reporting requirements.
10. Participate in the ongoing implementation and development of the IWM platform.
11. Satisfy all regulatory license requirements. The list includes Firm Element CE, AML Training, the Annual Compliance Questionnaire, and any additional product and/or license specific training requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with concentrations in personal financial planning, investment management, business administration, accounting, finance or banking or equivalent education and related training
2. Minimum of 8 years of progressively more responsible International banking, investment and personal financial planning/advisory related experience with experience in affluent client relationship management and business development with complex and significant client cases.
3. FINRA: 7 & 63, 65 or 66 and 215 Health Variable & Life insurance license.
4. Strong oral, written and presentation skills. Well organized, flexible and able to prioritize tasks. Proficiency using Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
5. International Travel is required.
6. Spoken and written fluency in one or more languages other than English is necessary
7. Extensive knowledge of a broad range of personal financial planning/advisory and investment management/asset allocation concepts and deep understanding of advisory credit and traditional banking solutions for the affluent market
8. Ability to deliver commercial banking services to serve client’s business needs.
9. Establish and maintain mutually beneficial business relationships with centers of influence such as internal regional partners (i.e. BSO’s, Corporate Bankers, local advisory board members, etc.), and external partners such as CPA’s, attorney’s, civic associations and other individuals and organizations that will enhance your business development efforts.
10. Keep abreast of changing economic, legal, financial planning, investment trends and general market and business issues affecting affluent clients. Serve as a personal financial planning/advisory resource for clients, their attorney’s and CPA’s.
11. Work within the existing audit, compliance and regulatory framework in order to ensure a high quality, compliant portfolio of client relationships.
12. Provide mentoring to less experienced Wealth Management staff in support of establishing an extraordinarily high level of professionalism, client service and responsiveness.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree in Finance, accounting or International Business.
2. CFP, CFA, CIMA, CTFA
