About the job
- A high school diploma is required.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- An excellent driving record is required.
- Knowledge of laws regarding passenger safety is required.
- Maintain preventive vehicle maintenance.
- Complete all appropriate paperwork on a timely basis.
- Maintain open communication with Social Service regarding scheduled appointments and changes to the schedule.
- Maintain resident safety during transport according to company policy.
- Communicate medical information obtained during a resident's appointment to the Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, and/or charge nurse.
- Complete other necessary duties as assigned, as time allows.
- Experience driving large vehicles, such as vans or small buses, is preferred.
- CNA is highly preferred.
