Requirements
  • Candidates must demonstrate a passion for the aerospace, defense, space, government services, and emerging technology sectors.
  • Candidates must have strong analytical skills and comfort with complex quantitative analysis and problem solving.
  • Candidates must be able to work in teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Candidates must be in the Washington, D.C. area from late May to August 2027.
  • Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Economics, Engineering, Finance, Business, Political Science, International Relations, Public Policy, or another STEM-related subject.
  • Candidates must have internship, work experience, or demonstrated interest in the aerospace, defense, security, or government services sector, or with a top consulting firm, investment bank, private equity firm, or venture capital firm.
  • Candidates must have strong business writing skills and be comfortable dealing face-to-face with clients.
  • Applicants must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Applicants must submit a CV or resume, cover letter, and unofficial university transcript.
Responsibilities
  • Support the global client base alongside senior consultants, analysts, associates, and senior staff.
  • Provide direct input into project deliverables and client briefings.
  • Conduct primary and secondary source research.
  • Build market and financial models.
  • Create client presentations and other deliverables.
  • Participate in the development of internal firm intellectual property.
  • Lead an independent market analysis and take ownership of the deliverable, culminating in a firm-wide presentation to senior management.

Slingshot Aerospace Raises $40.85 Million In Oversubscribed Series A2 Funds To Bolster Orbital Tracking And Space Safety

AUSTIN, Texas & EL SEGUNDO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Slingshot Aerospace, Inc., a company building data and analytics products to make space operations safer, today announced that it has raised $40.85 million in an oversubscribed Series A2 funding round. The round was led by Sway Ventures and included participation from others, including C16 Ventures, ATX Venture Partners, Lockheed Martin Ventures, Valor Equity Partners, and Draper Associates, the global venture capital firm of prominent Silicon Valley venture capitalist Tim Draper.
