  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets financial-modeling skills and a solid grasp of the three financial statements and how they connect.
  • Ability to build with AI agents, with basic working knowledge of GitHub, Python, and software development fundamentals.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to operate independently and carry end-to-end deliverables on a lean team.

  • Comfort with startup ambiguity and a fast-changing environment.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for forecasting and financial-performance questions across an assigned portfolio of clinics.
  • Build and maintain clinic-level projections; prepare monthly reporting with variance analysis and commentary that gives practice owners visibility into performance and opportunities.
  • Identify drivers of utilization, revenue, and cost across the portfolio; surface trends, anomalies, and risks and turn them into actionable insights.
  • Produce and own recurring practice-owner payment calculations and payment runs, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Reconcile owner payments to clinic P&L performance and underlying revenue and collections data; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Document and standardize payment methodology so it scales as new clinics onboard.
  • Analyze gross margin and COGS at clinic and service-line levels, including staffing utilization and cost structure, to identify efficiency opportunities.

  • Partner with Practice Success Managers to deepen clinic analysis and jointly own clinic outcomes.
  • Advise independent practice owners on financial matters and explain financial concepts in plain language.
  • Drive change across a decentralized network of owner-operators without relying on formal authority.
  • Build actionable improvement plans and drive them from problem definition through execution and measurable results.
  • Work with practice owners and Practice Success Managers to execute improvements and own the outcomes.
  • Use AI coding agents, including Claude Code, Codex, and similar tools, to build financial models, reports, and automations for internal use and for practice owners.
  • Use GitHub to branch, open pull requests, merge to main, and deploy fixes and improvements to finance tooling.
  • Identify and deliver process improvements that automate manual work and make reporting and forecasting faster and more scalable.
  • Use AI-assisted tools daily for analysis, modeling, and automation to improve throughput and insight quality.
  • Document, measure, and improve P&L processes as the business grows.
Desired Qualifications
  • Multi-site or multi-unit P&L experience in healthcare, veterinary, dental, retail, hospitality, or franchise settings.
  • Healthcare, ABA or behavioral health, or MSO/DSO experience.
  • Franchise or partner- or owner-facing experience.
  • Experience building business cases and driving margin or COGS improvement.
  • Experience building with AI coding agents and shipping software changes, including writing code, opening pull requests, merging to main, and deploying fixes.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and databases, Python, GitHub, and software development fundamentals.

About the company

What believers are saying

  • A 2026-03 job post shows continued hiring for practice owners and BCBAs.
  • Finni's site reports 90% of families see meaningful progress in six months.
  • Broad payer acceptance and mental-health care expansion widen referral and revenue opportunities.

What critics are saying

  • Finni's $3.2 million seed round from 2023 looks small against national ABA operators.
  • If insurer credentialing slows, the 2-week-to-2-plus-month onboarding gap throttles growth.
  • A BCBA labor shortage can break service delivery and erase the practice-owner model.

What makes Finni Health unique

  • Finni pairs ABA care with practice-owner software, recruiting BCBAs to run independent clinics.
  • It serves families in 25-plus states and claims 1,000-plus families helped by 2026-10.
  • Finni emphasizes in-home ABA, insurance coordination, and rapid therapist matching within 24 hours.
