Requirements
  • Proven skills in managing complex, multidisciplinary water and wastewater treatment plant projects and teams.
  • Technical experience in water and wastewater process design; treatment plant civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical design; treatment process studies; and construction contract administration and management.
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
  • Ability to build and maintain trusted-advisor relationships with internal and external clients and representatives of local, state, and federal regulatory and resource agencies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Environmental Engineering.
  • At least 10 years of related water and wastewater treatment experience, with emphasis on plant process evaluation, design, and construction.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation and sales skills.
  • Oklahoma, Kansas, or Arkansas Professional Engineer license, or the ability to become licensed within six months.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the analysis, design, construction administration, and preparation of technical reports, plans, and specifications for water and wastewater treatment, reuse, and resource recovery facility projects.
  • Guide the growth, performance, and culture of the treatment group while helping advance the national treatment practice.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert supporting projects and teams across the country.
  • Manage complex, multidisciplinary treatment plant projects and teams.
  • Build and maintain trusted-advisor relationships with clients and representatives of regulatory and resource agencies.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with projects in the $1 million or higher fee range.
  • Master's degree in Environmental Engineering.
