Ability to follow the Culinary Services dress code and professional service standards.
Ability to follow HACCP, food-safety, safety, and sanitation policies and procedures.
Ability to carry trays and bus tubs and safely transport food, supplies, and trash.
Availability to work the specified part-time schedule, including required weekdays and alternating weekends or holidays depending on the selected option.
Responsibilities
Portray a professional image in mannerisms and dress according to the Culinary Services dress code.
Provide prompt and courteous service to residents and guests following Willow Valley standards.
Work with other team members to ensure efficient and timely service.
Complete assigned setup side work.
Escort residents and guests to tables, pour ice water, greet diners, and announce daily specials.
Take verbal beverage orders tableside, assemble orders on trays, and serve hot and cold beverages.
Observe diners, respond to requests, and clear used dishes throughout meal service.
Carry trays and tubs of dirty dishes to the dish room.
Clear and reset tables throughout meal service and prepare dining areas for the next group of diners and meal period.
Complete assigned cleanup side work.
Assemble and deliver sick-box meals to residents’ apartments.
Set up, serve, and clean up banquets or special functions as needed.
Follow Willow Valley’s HACCP plan and food-safety policies and procedures.
Follow safety guidelines while operating equipment and transporting or preparing food, supplies, and trash.
Complete tasks required by the Daily Sanitation checklist.
Assist in the kitchen, dish room, and other departments as needed.
Attend team meetings, in-services, and training sessions regularly.

What You'll Do
As a Buffet Server, you'll play an important role in ensuring Residents and guests enjoy a welcoming and memorable dining experience.
