Position Summary

The Virtual PMHNP will play a key role in ensuring clinical quality and continuity of care across our behavioral health program. You will perform psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, provide clinical oversight, and collaborate closely with a team of LCSW’s, RDs, PTs, and physicians to support clients virtually. During the interview process, total compensation will be determined in alignment with market data, candidate location and the experience & capabilities of each candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and follow-up assessments via telehealth for adult clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment disorders, eating disorders, and related behavioral health concerns. 
• Collaborate with the supervising psychiatrist and interdisciplinary team to inform treatment planning.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care coordination with LCSW’s, RDs, PTs, and physicians.
• Provide clinical input and oversight for treatment protocols and workflows as the program scales.
• Monitor client progress and adjust care recommendations in coordination with therapists and other interdisciplinary team members.
• Ensure documentation is completed in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner within our EMR system.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of internal clinical protocols and quality improvement processes.
• Stay current with best practices, clinical guidelines, and emerging trends in behavioral health through ongoing education and professional development. 

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited university or nursing program with a Master’s or Doctoral degree as a Nurse Practitioner
• Dual-certified as a PMHNP and FNP (or other NP specialty), with an active and unrestricted PMHNP license in at least three U.S. states, preferably including Florida, Texas, New York, California, Pennsylvania, Michigan, or North Carolina.
• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience as a PMHNP, ideally in outpatient or telehealth settings.
• Experience working in collaborative care or integrated behavioral health environments preferred. 
• Comfort working in a startup or fast-paced clinical environment with evolving systems,
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines. 
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed, culturally competent, and evidence-based care.
• Experienced in navigating and documenting within multiple EHR systems, with the ability to adapt quickly to new digital platforms and workflows. 
• Strong working knowledge of HIPAA and behavioral health regulations, with a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and compliance in virtual care settings.
