How You Will Make An Impact
As Senior Director, Performance Marketing, Analytics & Technology, you will lead our customer acquisition strategy, driving both paid and organic customer and revenue growth and expanding our market presence. This role requires a strategic thinker who can innovate, optimize and scale our acquisition efforts across multiple channels. You will be instrumental in building a sustainable, profitable growth model that aligns with our mission to reduce fashion waste and promote sustainability.
In This Role You’ll Get To:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive customer acquisition strategy that leverages data-driven insights to maximize ROI and efficiency.
Team Management: Build and lead a high-performing team of marketing professionals; foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
Performance Marketing: Oversee all aspects of performance marketing including paid search, social media advertising, influencer, SEO, affiliate marketing, and more. Ensure campaigns are creative, targeted, and effectively drive conversion.
Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with other brands, influencers, and platforms to expand reach and enhance brand visibility.
Oversight of Marketing Analytics and Insights: Manage a team of marketing analysts to implement and utilize advanced ROI and attribution models, analytics reporting and tracking, data visualization dashboards, to assess the effectiveness of marketing spend, campaigns, and strategies. Make data-informed decisions to iterate and improve acquisition performance, as well as budgeting and spend allocation, continuously.
Martech Leadership & Innovation: Bring the latest advancements in AI, and other MarTech platforms that advance our performance marketing.
Budget Management: Manage the budget for customer acquisition, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across channels.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Lifecycle & CRM team, product, engineering, and customer service, to ensure a cohesive and effective growth strategy.
What We’re Looking For:
10+ years of experience in digital marketing or growth role within a high-paced, consumer-facing technology or marketplace company.
Proven track record of scaling customer acquisition efforts and managing multi million dollar budgets.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Deep understanding of various marketing platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, etc.).
Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
At ThredUp, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays between $240,000 and $270,000, and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Many ThredUp employees also have the opportunity to own shares of ThredUp stock, ThredUp employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, as well as a discount when purchasing ThredUp stock if voluntarily participating in ThredUp’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Subject to eligibility requirements, you’ll also receive other benefits: Comprehensive medical & dental coverage, vision, 401k, life and disability insurance.
