Requirements
  • Actors must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
Responsibilities
  • Appear in app-based video lessons as language teachers, seated behind a table facing a camera and deliver pre-written scripts explaining language concepts and phrases for learners.
  • Scripts also contain questions to the user and a variety of responses based on their performance.
  • When a user goes through a video lesson, the video recording of your teaching will play, along with opportunities for the app user to practice the language you are teaching.
  • Note that the lessons are not live, but interactive.
Desired Qualifications
  • Strong preference for native Spanish speakers and/or heritage Spanish speakers; those who learned Spanish in high school or college will not qualify.
  • Delivery of Spanish in a neutral Latin American Spanish accent.
  • For native Spanish speakers, having an English accent to some degree is acceptable, as long as the delivery of English lines is very clear, fluent, and comprehensible to English speakers.
  • Bilingual Spanish teachers will act out scripts that teach Spanish to speakers of English.
