Requirements
  • Two to three years of experience in project coordination or management within a related field.
  • Ability to collaborate with Project Managers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Strong client-facing and internal communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management tools.
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
Responsibilities
  • Communicate with clients as needed to identify and define project requirements, scopes, objectives, and intent to bid.
  • Assist with pre-bid qualifications and bidders lists.
  • Check invitations to bid for scope and search for potential projects.
  • Complete the initial screen, project proposal template, and initial estimate when applicable.
  • Review documents with the team and track opportunities.
  • Create opportunities in Groundworks or a similar system and maintain the SharePoint site.
  • Monitor and track project progress, notify the team of changes, and update Groundworks as required.
  • Download plans, specifications, geotechnical reports, and addenda from plan rooms and assess them for the team.
  • Monitor the Texas Estimating Inbox as required.
  • Collect forms for new vendor setup.
  • Open purchase orders as needed and set up material delivery with operations feedback when requested.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Create SharePoint sites and upload project files.
  • Create project blue books.
  • Assist the Superintendent with daily report updates as needed.
  • Coordinate with KNA Safety Representatives to gather and furnish required project and contractor safety documents and certifications; schedule special training, certifications, or drug testing when applicable.
  • Call in 811 tickets with the Project Manager's help, track expiration dates, renew tickets for ongoing projects, and update the project team.
  • Facilitate enrollment in OCIP and CCIP programs.
  • Request certificates of insurance and payment and performance bonds as needed.
  • Support shipping items to clients and job sites.
  • Prepare vendor subcontracts as needed.
  • Send executed change orders back to the client.
  • Support the monthly billing process.
  • Set up schedules of values in Groundworks with the Project Manager's help.
  • Review schedules of values monthly with the Project Manager and submit progress payments, monthly billing, and conditional and unconditional waivers to the client.
  • Enter and update billing in Groundworks after progress payments are submitted to the client.
  • Follow up with the client's accounts payable department regarding payment, cash collection, retention, and closeout.
  • Facilitate pricing of materials and equipment rentals and maintain updated pricing, vendor contacts, and typical delivery lead times.
  • Ensure the Project Manager's needs are met as the project evolves.
  • Prepare AutoCAD drawings.
  • Compile documentation for Engineer review, including micropiles and vibro piers documentation.
  • Perform material takeoffs and prepare boring profiles.
  • Conduct preliminary vibro pier designs for Engineering review.
  • Contact general contractors and structural engineers regarding design loads.
  • Collect helical pier design information for submittal to Cyntech.
  • Facilitate pricing of helical pier materials.

Keller, Inc. to build for Thermo Fisher scientific/oakbrook Corporation. FITCHBURG, Wis. - Thermo Fisher Scientific, in partnership with Oakbrook Corporation (Property Manager), is moving forward with an addition to expand its loading dock capabilities. The project includes two new loading docks, an improved turning radius, and redesigned traffic flow to better accommodate semi-truck deliveries. The project is being delivered through a design-build partnership with Keller, Inc., an award-winning, 100% employee-owned design-build contractor headquartered in Kaukauna. Thermo Fisher Scientific selected Keller after previous conversations about the design-build process and identified this project as an ideal opportunity to implement the delivery method for the first time. Designed to enhance operational efficiency, the project includes selective demolition of an existing area inside the current loading dock footprint to create a more functional and productive space. Once complete, the improvements will support increased productivity for a growing business unit. Construction is scheduled to begin this summer, with completion anticipated in Fall 2026.
