  • Work across client-facing and internal teams to understand strategic priorities, client needs, operational constraints, and delivery realities.
  • Design and facilitate client workshops, discovery sessions, co-creation activities, and value-mapping exercises.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, product managers, and development teams to understand and define user needs, business goals, and project requirements.
  • Support product venture work through journey design, concept development, prototyping, testing, and readout materials.
  • Create artefacts that help clients and senior stakeholders understand complex ideas quickly.
  • Help BNY differentiate its client interactions by combining design, innovation, AI-enabled thinking, and practical relevance.
  • Translate service concepts into user flows, wireframes, clickable prototypes, experience concepts, and product proofs of concept where needed.
  • Use Figma, FigJam, and other approved tools to create design outputs.
  • Conduct evaluative testing and iterate based on evidence and feedback.
  • Design human-and-AI and human-and-agent interactions with attention to trust, transparency, accessibility, usability, and escalation.
  • Contribute to reusable patterns, design practices, and team methods.
  • Use approved AI-enabled tools and methods to accelerate research, synthesis, ideation, concept generation, prototyping, and storytelling.
  • Critically evaluate AI outputs rather than accepting them at face value.
  • Assess where AI can help discovery and design and where human judgment, empathy, context, and craft remain essential.
  • Work with product and AI partners to shape experiences that are safe, useful, understandable, and ready for adoption.
  • Help the team continuously improve how AI is used within the design process.
  • Present complex ideas clearly to senior internal stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams.

Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Devin (Windsurf) and/or Claude Cowork.
  • Experience in financial services, asset servicing, banking, capital markets, payments, data-intensive services, or another regulated sector.
  • Exposure to client-facing innovation, value engineering, product ventures, operational services, data products, or complex enterprise platforms.

BNY embeds AI everywhere but won't say how much it spends of its $4B tech budget

BNY, which says it is embedding artificial intelligence (AI) across its business, declined to say how much it spends on the technology. Chief executive officer Robin Vince told analysts on its third-quarter earnings call that the bank is not breaking out the figure, and that doing so could be "counterproductive." Vince said AI is generating returns. About $4 billion of BNY's $13 billion annual expense base goes to technology. The bank now has "400-plus" AI solutions in production, up from 117 a year ago. BNY reported revenue of $5.7 billion, up 12%, and net income of $1.7 billion, up 16%. Earnings per share were $2.34, against a consensus estimate of $2.27. It raised its 2026 revenue growth outlook to 12%-13%.
