Regional Business Development Manager
About the job
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, or another equivalent academic discipline is required.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a regional or national sales position is required.
- Experience in Logistics, Industrial Packaging, Transportation, or the Pallet/Container industries is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience with account management, sales management, and client relations in business-to-business sales is required.
- Superior computer skills, including Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) systems, are mandatory.
- Develop and/or manage leads resulting in $3-$5 million in new business sales annually throughout the assigned market across all industry segments.
- Develop and maintain a diverse and balanced pipeline with at least $20 million in new growth opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships at the local level.
- Represent 48forty professionally at tradeshows and industry events, developing a network and establishing the company as a solutions provider.
- Utilize organizational solutions and match potential capabilities to needs identified by the customer base.
- Travel throughout the region daily to identify, close, and cultivate sales opportunities.
- Travel to the corporate office occasionally and travel locally to customer sites.
- Experience in Logistics, Industrial Packaging, Transportation, or the Pallet/Container industries.
