Responsibilities
  • Learn and understand Trimble’s underlying functional and safety requirements.
  • Ensure OEM project proposals align with Trimble's functional and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with OEMs and internal engineering teams to implement existing APIs and specify new or modified APIs.
  • Coordinate efforts across various groups to ensure seamless integration of Trimble technologies into OEM machinery.
  • Support OEMs in the effective utilization of Trimble’s technologies, driving project success and innovation.
  • Define J1939 CAN communication interfaces including electrical implementation, bus loading analyses, and messaging protocols.
  • Define system Ethernet and WiFi networks including layout, system usage, security, and messaging.
  • Provide technical input for mobile machinery positioning and control system verification testing.
  • Generate and maintain professional grade design documentation.
  • Travel (including international) is less than 40%.
