About the job
- At least 1 year of CNA, HHA, or home care experience.
- A valid Connecticut CNA license or qualifying HHA/CNA certificate.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- A physical examination completed within the past 12 months.
- A PPD or QuantiFERON test within the past 12 months, or a chest X-ray within the past 5 years.
- A valid driver's license.
- Assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility, as appropriate to the care plan and qualifications.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Help maintain a safe, comfortable home environment.
- Support clients' independence, dignity, and quality of life through compassionate home care.
- Candidates with a valid driver's license who drive are highly encouraged to apply.
