Responsibilities
  • Drive strategic sales initiatives focused on workload migration, application modernization, DevOps transformation, and artificial intelligence and machine learning adoption across information technology and information technology-enabled services organizations.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive account plans that identify growth opportunities, map stakeholder ecosystems, and align AWS capabilities with customer business objectives and technology roadmaps.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with C-level executives, engineering heads, delivery leaders, and practice heads.
  • Articulate AWS value propositions across compute, storage, databases, analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and generative artificial intelligence services.
  • Work with AWS Partner teams, Solutions Architects, and Professional Services to design and deliver proofs of concept, pilots, and production deployments.
  • Own revenue targets, build and manage the sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and drive deals through complex procurement cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Ensure successful onboarding and adoption of AWS services, identify expansion opportunities, and drive consumption growth.
  • Monitor information technology and information technology-enabled services industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies.
  • Organize and participate in workshops, hackathons, webinars, and industry events.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Architecture, Partner Development, Marketing, and Product teams to deliver comprehensive solutions and customer experiences.
  • Review account plans, analyze consumption trends, identify whitespace opportunities, and prepare for customer engagements.
  • Conduct executive briefings, technical deep-dives, and business reviews with customers and stakeholders.
  • Work with Solutions Architects on technical proposals, coordinate joint go-to-market initiatives with Partner teams, and engage Product teams to address customer requirements.
  • Advance opportunities through the sales cycle, address procurement and commercial discussions, negotiate contracts, and remove blockers to close deals.
  • Build trusted-advisor relationships through regular cadence calls, proactive outreach, sharing insights and best practices, and connecting customers with AWS resources.
  • Stay current on AWS service launches, industry trends, the competitive landscape, and customer success stories.
  • Update customer relationship management systems with opportunity data, forecast revenue, track milestones, and maintain account reporting.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree or above in engineering, technology, computer science, machine learning, robotics, operations research, statistics, mathematics, or an equivalent quantitative field.
  • A master's degree and experience working for Amazon or an Amazon subsidiary or affiliate.

Amazon's Zoox and Alphabet's Waymo expand robotaxi services to new US cities

Amazon's Zoox and Alphabet's Waymo are expanding their robotaxi operations to more US cities. Zoox will begin mapping and testing in Houston and San Diego, bringing its presence to 12 locations. The company launched paid rides in Las Vegas in August after previously offering free testing rides. Amazon integrates shopping into Prime Video with X-Ray feature and visual search across 8,000 titles

Amazon has introduced new shopping features for Prime Video viewers. The retail giant is integrating product discovery across thousands of titles through its X-Ray experience, which currently displays actor information and soundtrack details. Users can now access a Shop tab by pausing video and pressing up on their Fire TV remote. A new "Shop the Scene" feature uses Amazon's Lens technology to identify products from characters' outfits and home décor. The updates enhance last year's "Shop the Show" feature, which required typing a search query. The improved second-screen experience now automatically opens relevant storefronts when users launch the Amazon Shopping app whilst watching content. "Shop the Scene" is available on iOS and Android across more than 600 titles, whilst "Shop the Show" has expanded from 1,300 to over 8,000 titles in the US.
