Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial equipment installation, manufacturing engineering, facility construction, maintenance, field service, or commissioning environments.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience working on industrial machinery, including conveyors, drives, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment.
  • Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, sensors, relays, control circuits, and safe troubleshooting practices.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, automation systems, and industrial controls; ability to follow I/O, diagnose equipment issues, and support startup activities.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, mechanical drawings, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
  • Proven problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to travel up to 50-60% of the time
Responsibilities
  • Lead the installation, startup, and commissioning of process equipment and utility systems at Daniels Health treatment facilities across North America.
  • Develop installation plans, schedules, and project execution strategies for facility expansions, upgrades, and new site builds.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, project managers, and operations teams to ensure safe, on-time, and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Manage procurement, technical review, and integration of equipment including autoclaves, wash systems, boilers, compactors, compressors, conveyors, and supporting utilities.
  • Interpret and verify mechanical drawings, P&IDs, electrical schematics, submittals, and field changes to ensure installation quality and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues during installation and startup, driving timely resolution and system optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, LOTO, and site safety requirements while supporting operator training, documentation, and CMMS implementation.
