Requirements
  • Candidates must have a minimum of a Master's degree in a related field to their teaching assignment, such as Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineering.
Responsibilities
  • Teach assigned courses that align with the departmental curriculum, course objectives, and accreditation standards.
  • Develop and refine course materials, including syllabi, lectures, assignments, and exams.
  • Grade student work promptly by evaluating assignments, quizzes, papers, and exams, and submit results in a timely manner.
  • Provide students with constructive feedback and guidance on their academic progress, including prompt responses to inquiries.
  • Hold regular office hours to support students and communicate those hours clearly.
  • Maintain accurate records, including student grades, attendance, and other relevant academic data, and submit required documentation to the department on time.
  • Communicate with department chairs and coordinators about course progress and address emerging course or student issues.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports all students.
  • Follow university policies, institutional rules, regulations, and academic integrity guidelines.
Desired Qualifications
  • A First Professional Degree, specifically a B.Arch or M.Arch.
  • Registration as an Architect or Professional Engineer license.
  • Prior experience teaching at the college level.
