About the job

Requirements
  • Have 7+ years of experience in implementation, training, or customer success roles, including direct experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder rollouts.
  • Have a proven track record leading implementations for large, multi-location organizations, rather than single-site deployments.
  • Be comfortable owning a timeline with many moving parts and applying strong program or project management instincts.
  • Have executive presence and be credible and persuasive with senior leadership as well as end users.
  • Have presentation, facilitation, and written communication skills.
  • Be able to learn new technology quickly and translate it for non-technical clinical audiences.
  • Be empathetic and patient when helping others learn, while holding a large organization accountable to a timeline.
  • Be self-starting, thrive in a fast-paced startup, and be comfortable operating with ambiguity in a scaling implementation function.
  • Be willing to travel 20% within the United States.
Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end implementation plans for large, multi-branch home health and hospice accounts, from kickoff through adoption across every branch.
  • Design phased go-live sequencing by region, branch tier, or clinical service line to fit customer operations.
  • Build and manage the master implementation timeline and coordinate dependencies across IT, clinical leadership, and branch-level operations.
  • Anticipate risks in large organizations, including competing regional priorities, inconsistent branch readiness, and leadership turnover, and build contingency plans before escalation.
  • Lead virtual and on-site training for clinicians and office staff across dozens to hundreds of branches.
  • Design and run train-the-trainer programs so branch-level champions can deliver local training.
  • Provide targeted one-to-one and small-group coaching for slower-adopting branches.
  • Travel to customer sites for executive check-ins, regional kickoffs, and high-stakes go-lives.
  • Serve as the primary implementation contact for customer executive sponsors throughout the engagement.
  • Partner with Implementation Leadership on account strategy, executive business reviews, and renewal risk tied to adoption.
  • Track and report implementation health, and proactively identify and escalate at-risk implementations before they threaten renewal or expansion.
  • Build trust with clinicians and branch leadership by understanding workflow variation across branches.
  • Identify systemic adoption barriers and design interventions that work across a distributed organization.
  • Monitor account usage data and drive targeted follow-up with low-engagement branches or regions.
  • Deliver post-go-live reinforcement training and manage long-term adoption within large accounts.
  • Share frontline and branch-level insights with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to inform the roadmap and account strategy.
  • Surface patterns in enterprise accounts where friction at scale differs from friction at a single small agency.
  • Contribute to case studies and referenceability efforts for flagship enterprise accounts.
Desired Qualifications
  • Enterprise healthcare experience.
  • Experience implementing or training clinicians on electronic medical record, electronic health record, or other clinical software at scale.
  • Home health or hospice experience, especially with multi-branch or multi-state agencies.
  • Background in change management, instructional design, or adult learning.
  • Experience with learning management systems, training platforms, and implementation or project-tracking tools.
  • Familiarity with home health and hospice workflows and regulatory context, including OASIS, PDGM, and visit compliance.

About the company

Nestmed is an enterprise AI software company that automates clinical documentation, medical coding, and quality assurance for home health and hospice agencies by capturing clinician speech during visits and using AI to populate records. Its platform combines an Ambient Scribe that voice-transcribes OASIS forms, care plans, and visit notes; a Coding module that suggests ICD-10 codes from documentation; and a Quality Assurance function that validates OASIS data and flags compliance issues in real time, with each tool sharing patient context so downstream steps arrive pre-populated. What sets Nestmed apart is this integrated approach linking documentation, coding, and QA under shared AI context, built for home health disciplines such as RN, PT, OT, and SLP with field-based alerts rather than delayed reviews. The goal is to reduce clinicians' documentation burden and improve care quality, serving over 17,000 clinicians and documenting more than 7 million visits annually.

  • If clinician adoption stalls, Nestmed becomes an expensive transcription layer with weak switching costs.

What makes Nestmed unique

  • Purpose-built for home health and hospice, not generic clinic note-taking.
  • Integrates ambient listening, multilingual capture, EMR writeback, QA, and coding workflows.
  • Compassus and VNS Health validated deployment across 33 states and 15,000 clinicians.

VNS Health partners with Nestmed to deploy AI documentation platform across home-based care teams

VNS Health, New York's largest home and community-based healthcare nonprofit, has partnered with Nestmed to deploy an AI-powered clinical documentation platform across its home-based care teams, becoming the first organisation in the state to scale the technology. Nestmed's ambient AI listens during patient visits and automatically generates structured clinical notes, filtering background noise and recognising multiple languages. The notes transfer directly into electronic medical records through a one-click workflow, reducing documentation time for clinicians. The platform addresses administrative burden for VNS Health's clinicians, who served over 61,000 patients last year across diverse New York settings. Nestmed supports over 15,000 clinicians nationwide and powers millions of annual visits. VNS Health completed rigorous evaluation and pilot testing before deployment.
