Pinnacle Bancshares Q3 net income rises 18% to $1.26M as earnings per share hit $1.40

Murata unveils world's smallest NTC thermistor, cutting mounting area by 60%

Murata Manufacturing has developed what it says is the world's smallest negative temperature coefficient (NTC) thermistor, the NCU01 series. At 008004-inch size (0.25mm × 0.125mm), it cuts mounting area by about 60% compared with the company's previous smallest 01005-inch product. The new series keeps the same performance, with resistance and B-constant tolerances of ±1%. Its size lets engineers place temperature sensors closer to heat-generating parts in smartphones, wearables, and other densely packed devices, which should make readings more accurate and responsive. Murata plans to ship samples in October 2026 and begin mass production in 2027. The lineup will start with 100kΩ and 10kΩ resistance values, and will expand over time.

Altera extends defence-grade capabilities across its Agilex FPGA range

Altera Corporation has expanded its Agilex FPGA and SoC FPGA portfolio to serve more aerospace and defence programmes. The company announced the move on October 19, 2026. The defence-grade devices operate from -55°C to 125°C. Leaded-ball and ruggedised packaging options are built to withstand temperature cycling, vibration, and shock.
