  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum three years of experience in an industrial setting
  • Knowledge of chemicals used in specific regeneration processes
  • Must be licensed forklift driver or able to obtain forklift certification at time of hire
  • Must understand process flow of carbon/reactivation process
  • Must be able to complete 40-hour hazardous waste operations training as well as additional site-specific safety and operator training
  • Mid-level machine troubleshoots and repair process machinery
  • Ability to communicate clearly to team members and management
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Some manufacturing/plant experience preferred
  • Experience with implementing 5s and lean manufacturing principles
Responsibilities
  • Follow all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality
  • Read and follow documented processes
  • Check on equipment throughout the shift to ensure equipment is working properly
  • Load and unload deliveries to and from regional branches
  • Operate computer to enter necessary documentation
  • Able to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment
  • Make and monitor adjustments in plant via control systems
  • Maintain inspection and inventory of operation tools
  • Contribute to division results and performance
  • Take care of internal and external customer needs and expectations
  • Operate equipment specific to area such as CARBON and REGEN processes
