  • 5+ years of experience in business development, specifically as a relationship manager in a technical field such as project finance, investment sales, or other similarly complex product market

Responsibilities
  • Engage key buyers, financial institutions, and global impact funds, understand their climate goals, investment criteria, geographical and risk appetite, and match them with our projects
  • Provide potential partners in our projects with a professional pitch of our capabilities, our project’s characteristics, and demonstrate how participation will help achieve their goals
  • Introduce Terraformation’s deal teams, which consist of forestry, carbon, project finance, legal, and other experts who will support you and execute transactions to the highest standard
  • Represent Terraformation at industry events, highlighting our successes, influencing the market, and generating new relationships
  • Communicate internally, ensuring Terraformation is up to date on the carbon and investors markets so we can ensure our projects remain relevant
  • Collaborate with Terraformation’s marketing, project finance, and legal teams to ensure projects are brought to market in an executable form to ensure efficient transaction execution, which directly meets our client’s goals
  • Offer insights into the carbon markets for the benefit of internal and external stakeholders and facilitate them staying up to date on the latest influences and direction
  • Implement best practices, mentor junior team members, and inform team development as required
