Formwork Accessories Designer
About the job
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, specifically Civil, Mechanical, or Construction engineering.
- Experience in a related Civil, Mechanical, or Construction field.
- Strong design skills using AutoCAD 2D and 3D.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Well-developed analytical skills.
- Ability to work individually and collaboratively on standard and major projects.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while adhering to strict deadlines and budgets.
- Good listening and probing skills to diagnose client requirements.
- Willingness to work hands-on in projects when required.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Prepare accessory designs, drawings, and related documentation in accordance with project and company requirements.
- Deliver accessory drawings in line with production schedules and deadlines.
- Ensure designs comply with specifications, system requirements, and manufacturing constraints.
- Coordinate with Business Development and internal teams to support drawing preparation and submission.
- Maintain accurate and organised records of accessory design documentation.
- Identify and escalate design issues or inconsistencies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of accessory design standards and processes.
- Maintain the accuracy and quality of accessory design outputs.
- Manage assigned work in line with project and production priorities.
- Follow established procedures and escalate risks where necessary.
- Maintain professional conduct and good housekeeping within the design function.
- Use company equipment and systems responsibly.
- Ensure confidentiality of company documentation and activities.
- Undertake other duties reasonably assigned by Management.
- An engaging personality and confident attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a results-driven, fast-paced team environment.
