Responsibilities
Supervise offenders on pretrial and probation supervision.
Assist offenders in understanding and meeting requirements placed upon them.
Assist offenders in identifying needs and appropriate resources.
Attend morning First Appearance dockets and prepare criminal history reports.
Prepare reports related to transfer of supervision, case reports, violation reports, and risk assessments, including LSIR, LSCMI, WRNA, and SASSI.
Work closely with resource agencies in the community.
Maintain current and accurate case records.
Work independently or in teams under the general direction of a senior Court Services Officer.
Participate in staffing, report review, and caseload audits.
Desired Qualifications
Knowledge of best practices in probation and pretrial supervision.
Familiarity working with justice-involved clients experiencing trauma, mental health, or substance use issues.
At least one year of experience within the past five years conducting interviews, writing formal reports, working with justice-involved individuals, or working with clients with substance abuse or mental health issues.

Job Summary: The work involves communication and interaction with adult offenders under the court’s jurisdiction and with other parties concerned in the investigation and preparation of reports for the court.
Job Duties:
