Requirements
  • Current enrollment in college or Bachelor's Degree (Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Math, or related field)
  • Familiarity with the execution and breakdown of engineering projects
  • First or second year circuits classes and knowledge of engineering fundamentals
  • Curiosity and passion about engineering and technology with the ability to learn and take instruction
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C, C++, R, etc.)
  • Experience in a team-based design and build project
  • Exposure to the execution of engineering projects involving end-to-end electrical system design
  • Familiar with project engineering tools like Smartsheet, Confluence, Jira, and Trello
  • Familiarity with machining tools including milling machines, lathes, and CNC equipment
  • CAD software design experience for PCB and/or mechanical designs
  • Experience in soldering and crimping for complex systems
  • Experience with Linux operating systems
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
Responsibilities
  • Report to a mentor for feedback and learning
  • Drive action items with engineering and customer teams
  • Prepare reports and project documentation
  • Track project schedules and budgets
  • Gain exposure to electronic assembly and programming
  • Facilitate project budgets and integration plans
